I beg to differ

What puts Malaysian more patriotic and what put patriotism amongst Malaysian? Is that because of the national anthem? National day anthem? Logo? Olympics’ gold medal, free t shirt or what?

What most country in the world had successfully plant the real patriotism? Google now and based on respectively research it is Palestine. Have we found any of their national day’s logo? No because they are too busy with the chaotic and running with stones. Most of the depressed country are successfully put a high patriotism and same goes Malaysia before Independence.

After that, we continually celebrate our national day with smiles, big flag, and sparklers and fire crackers. As a result, we failed to put patriotism to young generation except spending million of money with that kind of campaign. The answer of the yearly campaign end up with racial prejudice amongst races in Malaysia and what should be done, next? Should we put illegal immigrant hatred amongs Malaysian? We scared of losing opportunity but we leave the current opportunity to Indons and Banglas. Chow Kit, Jalan TAR, DownTown , Ampang Tambahan are all blue ocean of illegal immigrants. That’s their bowl of rice.

Still, we never have any arguments on that yearly occasion though in reality beating Indonesia in football is something really mean to Malaysian. Those yesteryears, patriotism and espirit de corps is still mean where both sides of political party still take national spirit into account .From time to time never political agenda be part of national day theme and yet we see a bit awkward for this year. Never came a cross my mind this anthem would be like this. The concept of 1 Malaysia is just good enough to celebrate the national day but injecting some political DNA in national day considered pathetically desperate.

First, the logo is too lousy and the minister took a damage control by replacing it with the earlier I Malaysia logo. Ok that’s fine and showing that you admit your mistake. Then, when I listen to the national anthem and I find it no more than a kindergarten stupid jingles. The melody is just unsynchronized, out of tune and too light to be a patriotic song. The lyrics are just horror and the rhythm is out of tune like the idea from a store room. Mr. Minister, please put it in ashtray and if you are damn lazy to think just use the Sudirman ‘s song, Tanggal 31. I disagree for this doesn’t mean I against the government of the day. In reality we must admit the difference and here I beg to differ.

A Day Without News

News and politics are two living things symbiosis live in reality  . Both need each other. There is no running away from talking about the politic s without news. Some are facts and most are craps.

Obviously, our country practicing political campaign on government news using mainstream media and vice versa the opposition opt to the alternative media. This arrangement has many pros and cons.  Most of the benefits accrue to the incumbent government, which they can portray very good things about them on mainstream media while on the side the opposition chooses to do rallies and get the influences from the young voters. 

On the flip side of it is that unlike the country who really free in mass communication, they would a lot of debates about the freedom of speech in this country. Some may say it’s all to the government who controlled the mass media but the other way around, opposition do the road tour ion every single day. Both are likely play in the same casino with different mode of game. One side with blackjack and another one with royal flush. 

  

Of certain issues has been raised by the media recently may makes public uncertainty. The ‘failure’ on judging a big case and a one man show of government’s office rampage are news that we shouldn’t be catered. For some reasons reading news papers in early morning and watching television news are the subjects of daily destruction. It may spoil your day. Politician remains politician. They remain as the most unreliable career on earth. 

I’ve tried once for not reading newspaper and watching primetime news and my day even better. The family value comes after none of members arguing about the tv programmes.

Reading uncleseekers’blog recently really makes me think that he is such a sick person. The last time I watched him on screen was a journal program called Bersama Linda if I was not mistaken. He pathetically rebuts another panel rudely while they are talking about paranormal. Apparently, as what mainstream media published, he is now being remand for 15 days to help cops in a big case of the country by slandering the Johore Royale.

After smashing the royal with many sensational exposed he then caught in Senawang with girlfriend. Before that, it has been tradition to him to expose the blog post up to 66 series but this time the cops don’t wait anymore. Up to the series of 64, they catch him.

Via his blog he also claimed that was having affair with the previous queen and few photos been published as evidence of the relationship. It’s not a wrong by having relationship with the ex queen, and indeed she is also just a human. I personally feel that by exposing what was privately shared between the two of them is just something a big wrong and people can’t accept it. He is exposing something that should not be exposed.

Meet someone, falling in love, and separates are just an ordinary life cycle. Caring about your companion, getting deep and sharing together are something precious and a gift from God. It such a beautiful relationship when both parties are promising to live together and share things forever and all looks nice before things cracked.

But, when it poised with nemesis, the relationship becomes imbeciles, then all those promise flying with the wind. It has turn bitter after both parties bastardizing each other.

Breaking up with a relationship doesn’t mean we positioned our previous partner as an enemy and it will be even worse by blackening her/him. It just a common sense, exposing something previously you shared with him/her neither in privacy nor publicly is a pure sin. Bastardizing your previous partner makes people think you are a bastard. Human can’t accept it and by doing so you are a moron practically.

Business's Snippet

Of late, FGVH shares had been top news amongst the mainstream news and without they realize the KPF dividend is much better. What are so huge perks if the shares given to settlers just 800 unit and not even one lot. For simple calculation 800 x 4.55 is just 3640 and the shares being rocket boosted up to 5.25 so that times 800 it would be 4200. For stupid arithmetic, 4200 minus 3640 is only bloody 560. WTF lah. Fortunately, KPF gave us 18% and partial from it, I can use for our small business. 

Joining “all girls stuff” business is my new counterpart business .Getting perks for Raya is just well enough if it’s not bare my legal fee for   C14 apartment at all cost. While many colleagues in my office are struggling like hell to get good post (and some may use devil’s advocate), I choose to make money the other way around. Let them get the post and I want to make money outside. 

It has been two days in the row, I am quite busy with preparation for our stall in Jalan Conlay. Tiring but not as stress as getting a curse wedding invitation. I was told to attend a wedding but they place us at the end of the world for the night wedding and yet the next day they asked me to “bagi bunga teloq”. Sorry not interested with that .I just want to eat.

Back to business. I went to Kompleks Kraf with Wanie and do my own survey and some respond makes me worried about the sales. Indeed, it s a girl stuff business and I just a first timer. Better late than never .Harap – harap maletop 

Oh My English

 Born as kampong boy, it’s kind of weird and awkward to hustle just one day in the foreign language.  The whole my family speak the national Kedah language and we proud of it. Not like many migrate, who tend to speak standard bahasa, I proud to speak my northern dialect. 

My pilgrimage to KL urged me to explore lifestyle, career exposure and gaining knowledge. I see that the ability to speak English is added value and at that time believe we may looked “cool” by using that language. Proficiency in English is vital in today’s world and apparently it being use widely in corporate sector. To put myself at par with KL urbanites, I need to catch up very fast. Though my secondary school was an English medium, but the culture of English conversation usage was not mandatory to everyone.

Listening to music and subscribing Kerrang magazine with little help of my scholarship are two things help my English. I put the western music as a benchmark and therefore I spent a lot in rock n roll cassette at my secondary level. At one point, a misunderstanding happen when my father wanted to remove my faked Soundgarden tattoo as he think that was the real tattoo. Indeed there some songs I don’t understand at all but I keep effort to find it words by word through dictionary.

English nowadays is very important and arriving Heathrow without English may put you into hell. It will help at every corner of the world. According to  Stephen Doss the following are other data relating to the use of English in different situations:

·         There are an estimated 1.7 billion users of the language. English dominates the Internet, the print media, business, aviation, conferences, other international events, etc;

·         English is the medium of higher education in many countries, eg India, the Netherlands, Oman, South Africa, Sweden and Turkey;

In his book The Future of English (2000), Graddol said: “Worldwide, there are 1,400 million people living in countries where English has official status. One out of five of the world’s population speaks English to some level of competence. English is the main language of books, newspapers, airports and air-traffic control, international businesses and academic conferences, science, technology, diplomacy, sport, international competitions, pop music and advertising.

Whatever your options are, to develop ourselves lay our own hand and I had my own way. I was so choosy in selecting girlfriends last time. No matter how pretty the girl is, if they can’t speak English, definitely they will be kicked out.  I only went out with good English girl and today I marry with someone who is able to converse in English well and had our daughters followed us, we seek for time to prove it.

Last night I watch a new program on Astro called Oh My English. It’s about the notorious students who are well known for misbehaving and being the worst at their academic results, especially in English. By using unconventional methods of learning, Henry Middleton  aims to improve their English. The program is a noble idea (I guess it’s from Marina Mahathir, when I look the producer is Red Com) and I think it helps the English standard for toddler in relaxing mood. Though there are some errors on grammar but it more to educate the audience. Oh My English presents a 360 degree learning experience dedicated to help young teens to improve their conversational English in a fun way and I do encourage my two angles to watch that.

Though my English is not as good as KL yuppies but I tried to make grammatical errors a minimum level. Up to now I still feel, far behind from those urbanites who born naturally in English pool but being a rubber estate boy, it’s better late than never. My root doesn’t stop me to explore a language which totally out of my world. At least I don’t look as an alien in this country. On why many local universities student failed to speak English, it’s their choice to put what colour from their pallet .The perceptions on being liberalism by using foreign language on daily basis just kill them to explore the other side of the world. Apparently, for those who choose to alienate English it means they disown the vast of knowledge.  In this country English is not a foreign language.

Euro 2012

Would it be preposterous to say that EURO 2012 would be neglected by the football fans all over the world? It was certainly a most men sport since the Earth was created by The God , I believe , and the most wealthiest sport with billion of transactions. 

Really, the football has taken over the carrier premiership and it even being much hire  than any politician all over the world. The fact that Christiano Ronaldo's cash ability is equavalent to two times Obama's saving account.Not unless, I myself wanted to be part of the football local history but knowing talent and size is not granted by the God Almighty, watching football is just enough for a dwarf species fan like me. !

Euro 2012 and  what most irritating me is on why tulips was chosen as logo of  this men's sport? NVM, let it be puzzling me and many men out there.What about the Euro 2012 and favorite team of mine then? The last world cup had seen I was campaigning for Germany via my FB account and this time it remain the same. I never swindle to other team yet perhaps Germany I expected could be the champ of the Europe continent this time. Hard to say that other giant teams like Spain, France and Italy would be peanuts but the game  versus Holland last night could be a stepping stone to Germany for final. 

One thing for sure there is, no betting at the moment as I quite busy with Tmn Pasif.  

Again, hard to say. In fact, betting had never crossed paths until I met Nordin in this office and the money start counting on the table of World Cup 2006. Nordin and I too were on very cordial terms but after he’d been thrown away to be an  OSC officer, he then disappeared and I had lost contact with him.

But make no mistake. Nordin is a jovial person. Many gossips overthrowing him about his integrity perhaps I never bother about it.I actually enjoyed being close friends with him. For sure, Nordin was the best person to chat about football and I always would want to tap his brains about sports. He was not only a sports man, which was widely known champ at golf and psychologically good at badmouthing people. 


Now as time goes by, friends slowly disappeared and I had to enjoy Euro 2012 on my own. Hasrun, Munna and Yogesh would never good at football. If last time Usop would fetch me at 3.00 am in the morning, now I had to drive on my own to Riang- Riang make noise alone. For at least I realized, neither Euro nor World,the player has changed, the heroes has changed,the jersey has changed, friend's condition changed, the atmosphere has changed,everything changed suits to our age and like most architecture students said its "form follow function".
