A News from Republic of Corruption

Sri Mulyani will be appointed as Managing Director of World Bank according to Sarawak mainstream newspaper , Borneo Post, April 5Th. The question is, is that considered a compliment to Asian or else is just a new colonialism to Asian.
Sri Mulyani is currently in charge of finance in the SBY cabinet as minister. She is reported to tenure her resignation after being permitted by the republic’s president. Via the headlines, she is now the proud of Indonesian. The market shared of Jakarta had been down 3.2 point after she’d being confirmed of the post. The appointment of her happens as one day after she’d being investigated by an international anti corruption agency. Before this, she was being accused and alleged in her involvement using public fund to save the Bank of Century. Again, is that a good sign or another crumple? The appointment remains question after all we had several qualified candidates all over Asian country. Why can’t they pick some one from high-developed countries such as Singapore or Hong Kong if not Malaysia?
Is Indonesian being authored to be the follower after facing a big debt to the World Bank? Just imagine if you have a saving account but controlled by the third party. I see the appointment as same as creating another loan in factoring method where the acceptance letter being guaranteed by the creditor.
After several years of the financial crisis at 1997, [the maid –produced country] are burdening with the big debt of IMF. Is there a new strategy of the west oriental’s to get new chance in ideology colonialism by appointing someone from poor country. This thing remains question. What a mess in the magnetic world in the year of 2010?
