poyo

when I was in university, I never bother the uni – election and I believe those who get the rank in MPP were freaking posers, unattractive and not cool enough. In the current Malay language they called it poyo. neither aspirasi nor siswa , never be my bread and butter and for those I believe go for the MPP were always nerds and bookworms. campus campaign and those MPP’s icons was moron to me. as rock n roll believer who was parallel to tommy lee and scott weiland in those pagan times, my brain cell always associated with girls, gigs and go-go’s .politics, suara siswa ..slogan, debates , student’s right ..hak tuih ..I better sleep than listening you guys talking rubbish while inhaling taxpayer’s money.

so can be seen from here, actually I have no problem with university students, but I just have a problem with forthose claimed themselves mahasiswa because I don't see what are so maha for those siswa and they are usually those who called themselves mahasiswa are those who often seen as poyo.I am sure, would have been university students calling themselves mahasiswa not sepoyo mana pun, of course, they are friendly, kind and humanis, but in terms of experience and observation of me who have studied at ipta for five years followed by a particular student group, then sadly I have to say, every time I hear the word mahasiswa, the first thing to come or appear in my mind is approaching the level of green vormit.

.when I flopped my biology and need reseat the paper, it gave me an infra red to wake up and I said to my self I can’t waste my father’s money just for go-go’s and gig .I never turning back , study and finish my diploma. I was a self sponsored and I had to save some money for my degree. As a result, I managed to finish my study without any interfering with any political waves. does a student supposed to study and not street-screaming? I don’t understand why must they go on the street with banner where else at the same time is that good to spend with girlfriend if not the library? the new world university and college studying is not like last time back in 70’s where graduates were highly appreciated with their achievement. when they joined the demos, the voices of them were always being labeled as the voice of clever clan. today, everyone is considered clever and out of ten teenagers walking on the street, nine of them from colleges. the voice of student is almost every where. Is demo and street screaming still relevant for fighting the future? Nahh.. that was anwar brahing and bang brahing ali’s times and they are now dinosaur. moreover I don’t see they could survive in the current‘s method of study i heard they only got pangkat 2 for their spm.

if you don’t satisfy with things, keep to your self, and wait the polling day and vote for your choice. That’s shows how mature you are .

midnite snippet

It has been a traditional believe or what the sociologist always said about a norm. Malaysian especially always associated with things they believe in this world only there are only left and right and black and white and that supposed to be the fundamental thinking of an engineer. Strangely not all Malaysian born engineer and many of them never bother what is statistic is all about. What most planted in their mind is gossip and garbage. To justify what I was saying just now, can’t we hypothesize that the most top rating tv programmes in this country is melodi during weekends on tv3 or can we assumed that politic is the most hot topic to be discussed among Malaysian? Yes of course but by discussing the politics and gossips day and night, the majority of them still thinking that if you support this hero, you must hail him up and down, suck his dick and never topple the credibility. It seems that very less believe that we can only support him for what he fighting for, but never about his personal life and even we support him, they must errors that he did and realizing he is also human. Parallel to this example is in life not all the time we agree to parents but we still love them right and there are times we refuse to follow their instruction as our paradigm is totally different. The RPK’s blog http://www.malaysia-today.net/mtcolumns/no-holds-barred/45800-between-friends-comrades-and-acquaintances gives a good example and I totally agree with him .Most Malaysian political follower’s problem is to understand the issue, lazy to read and do some research and always listened to one side and they always demonstrate a very low level of maturity. They allow their thinking to be clouded by emotions and for them one plus one equals to two without realizing that in power competition, the only mathematic formula is winning with any form of formulas.

karma chameleons

Some of the formulas are still triggering like one mean test, z score , t score and chi square but I haven’t finish exercising my statistic three hundred and sixty degrees yet. Those formulas really make me chameleons and my ear would be infra red if some numbers I can’t execute at this moment.
While fighting my self with numbers these few weeks, for a 10 minutes break, I took a cup coffee and lay in my garden last night. Enjoying my lawn plus a lil bit help of herbs, I saw a movement from the lush leaves .It was chameleons. Now my lawn turned into zoological garden and a metamorphosis starts now, I guess but that reptile remembered me to a political icon, who is waiting to be barricaded soon. We knew who and just wait for news to be spinned. What after this? Do we have to suffer again in traffic jam in the early morning before to work? I supposed to apply for leave on that day rather than lotsa curses from my mouth. Again they will say slander 3.0 versus chameleons?

Numbers & Me

Getting new friends with different walk of life gives a lot of opportunity for me to discover the other parts of my career. Many of them are talking about the new scheme in govt sector give you to try something new or else get another job without jeopardize the pension scheme and that sounds great. Furthermore, working with idiots can kill you anyway. At the mean time I disordered with bundle statistics formulas and calculator strangely becomes my good friend. Many years I never believe I’m able to deal with those chi, mean, z score, t – test, proportion and bla.. blas.. but now I feel better with that.Statistic I learnt in English version text book but taught in Malay but I prefer if they asked in Malay provided those technical words in English..haha..Does that mean I should support PPSMI or vice versa? Or maybe Mathematic should be taught in Manglish…Better idea?

Cant wait for Christmas..like what I talked to Shan and Hussein yesterday

Alumni

Hard to sleep tonight after watching Sea Games football. Many things came across in my mind from the hideous face of Voldermort to the outstanding MPSJ summons. If Harry Porter is reality he might be getting for at least Tan Sri for his good deed. Killing the dark soul of Voldermort considered crusade and medal well deserved. At the mean time I can’t wait the office’s Voldermort to be removed, Mr Singh. The petition signed by us seems to be worked out after I brought it up at the labour meeting and I heard something had been done by the top one. On the other hand, we had to face a black whisper by the big momma. Well mom, the voters had spoken.
An enjoyable alumni party with last week .With Spice Girls, Peyja, Awe, Ayu and Wan, Azri and the laugh cheered the night. It’s only ten of us of our badge and the rest they may hallucinate and spread out every where on earth. Some of the alumnus came stylishly and some the looked freak and posers. Many have said I was a big pimp of the night but mingled with Wan Halawah and Kamariyah Kamsah was the best part of the night. Even the course doesn’t give the maximum satisfaction and the cake is too small, I owe my teachers and ITM very much and that’s where my thinking process started being moulded. To all of my lecturers, I fly my million thanx to the high icarus sky.

Views on Gender from a Gardener

Since the garden had been installed, almost every night I spent my time at my garden yard usually after news. Switch on the light, mingle around and talk to the plants. A bit strange as I never do that and gardening was never been my appetite all this while. Yasmine made weird face and maybe wondering what was I am doing. Hmm my father..damn freak… deep inside she may say that. People said that talking to the plants would make it live longer and without any scientific reason, I may believe that but in karma way. Good deed replies the same. Or may be when we talk, the carbon dioxide exhaled from us fed the plant and that’s logically my non-horticulture brain being able to be digested. Landscape architect by profession but neither garden nor landscaping was never being my bread and butter. I would prefer to talk about Masterchef and Serasi Bersama rather than that. Strangely I love gardening recently. Well at least I tried do some appreciation for my certificate and it may academically justified.
My family and I are on red alert as Zareene’s grandmom aka Atok critically in serious illness. At the age of 87 none of supporting medical’s tool recommended. We are actually in the mood of getting ready if the “big case “ happens to her and that’s worrying me much as I had being asked to climb up Fraser Hill for a meeting . Fraser Hill – a little English town on top of the hill. Soothing , calm but hot enough with brainwash session by the big boss and end up with freak presentation. For the first time I survived wearing tie till dusk. The apartment where I stayed was so creepy, horror ,muddy and damn so hideous and that’s make me jump into conclusion any course’s venue organized by Shikah sucks.

Checked out…A1-1-8 Fraserhill Silversuck…Check in 1207..NYHotel JB............

At the mean time while flipping some blogs, the Seksualiti Merdeka news had made surprised. Believing that this not a Caucasian country where we still have normal practice of Asian value ,the promotion of weird people festival is something unacceptable. It’s hard for a straight person like me to understand Rev O Young and gays in the world. I knew some gays and faggots and I treat them as same as others but on what are they fighting for their life is none of my business. On why they are fighting for, the equal treatment, sexual activity new concept, I strongly believe they confused by the liberalization created by the capitalist. Queer without fear? Why queer and why fear. Are transsexual and homosexual new communism? Recently the misconception of queer by this colony spoilt the thinking of new kids. I just worry about how my kids going to survive with this entire paradigm. Is not queer but it is fake. Gender confusion is purely something fabricated and it’s all based on lust. It is not the destiny of God and it is a devilish desire works. In addition, homosexual, threesome, gay , lesbian and same gender sexual are the ingredients of the Satan religion.

PS.. In contrary, I look the protest of Elton John concert by some orthodox are so silly and brainless. He is not promoting the conceptual of gay marriage here and just wants to sing, so why worry?

Deadlocked

People said one learns from the successful. One cannot learn much from the failures except to know what not to do, and to reject their creed and methods. TDM said certainly one should not learn how to be successful from cheats, from liars, from people who are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands through their incompetence and willingness to lie. In my case and many cases in bureaucratic offices we should learn from the successful but not with someone who have agenda to raise his position and topple others. An adviser or here so called direction-marker should guide the right way to reach the light but not to crumple the route. It would seem however that there are plenty of advices but at the same time there are no way out.

Dear Boss Letter

The "Dear Boss" letter was a message allegedly written by the notorious Victorian serial killer known as Jack the Ripper. It was postmarked and received on 27 September 1888, by the Central News Agency of London. It was forwarded to Scotland Yard on 29 September.

The message, like most alleged Ripper letters that followed, contains a number of spelling and punctuation errors. It reads:

“ Dear Boss,
I keep on hearing the police have caught me but they won’t fix me just yet. I have laughed when they look so clever and talk about being on the right track. That joke about Leather Apron gave me real fits. I am down on whores and I shant quit ripping them till I do get buckled. Grand work the last job was. I gave the lady no time to squeal. How can they catch me now. I love my work and want to start again. You will soon hear of me with my funny little games. I saved some of the proper red stuff in a ginger beer bottle over the last job to write with but it went thick like glue and I can’t use it. Red ink is fit enough I hope ha. ha. The next job I do I shall clip the lady’s ears off and send to the police officers just for jolly wouldn't you. Keep this letter back till I do a bit more work, then give it out straight. My knife's so nice and sharp I want to get to work right away if I get a chance. Good Luck. Yours truly
Jack the Ripper

Dont mind me giving the trade name

PS Wasnt good enough to post this before I got all the red ink off my hands curse it No luck yet. They say I'm a doctor now. ha ha haaha

On my version of Dear Boss Letter

Dear Big Boss,

"Since two years we’ve been trapped into bed lock situation and now today we’ve decided to say something which we feel justified to voice out. Ever since you put our new direct boss as our leader, he did nothing but only being a sore loser. On the other hand, the God the Almighty had test us by sending the devil Singh and he'd being the master planner of all evil deeds here. As many people realize that bloody buggar was so rude to everyone, bloody backstabber ,ploy to fail the office with provoke and arrogant. Historically of this moron I don’t have to tell you that he’d also being kicked out by his parent office and they send him as an escapism reason. He always topple your credibility when he feel to do so.

I don’t want you read this letter emotionally but sorry for using harsh words and sound so emotional. But being a person as you who were too cool for two years at a wrong place , I better put molotov cocktail and explode it at your door now and said “boss please kick him out” . Ever since that we mingled around you with hue and cry and now the voters has spoken to swipe him out and unfortunate our direct boss refuse to sign this letter. As far as the planet of the earth noticed that, our direct boss appointed by you is totally con man, shameless, a cocky opportunist and no balls. Sorry by sending letter may interrupt your good condition. Boss lastly I better emphasize this that we sold our soul to the devil by signing this letter and we dare to die with thousand hopes. By option, you just have to pick one, either we or him. That’s all. Thanks but no thanks…"

* Come crawling faster, obey your master*
**Come crawling faster, fight fire with fire**

Yours truly,

Dont Go To Work On Mondays

Friday always is a good day. Starting the day with a boom issue and then having good cordial chat with Mariam and Hafiz. The mood is different as this time around time to wake up and voice out and let the God judge the efforts. At least we have tried.
My mood in shopping the books is just like Rebecca Bloomwood in Confession of Shopaholic. When The Big Bad Wolf fair is still around the corner I have spent hundred ringgits on that. The rock bottom price for many book peoples nuts and I can see that people starting appreciate books or maybe I just a new comer for a book’s fair.
One of the books I am reading now is Don’t Go To Work on Mondays And Other Amazing Facts about You and Your Life authored by Anahad O Connor. A nonfiction book and it is a fascinating exploration of the many medical myths and scientific fallacies that abound in the media, this book exposes the facts behind the fiction. Realizing my baldness equivalent to Zidane, I found that the fact that baldness is inherited from my mother side which I find it a bit weird where my mother had no problems with baldness and white hair. By showing some scientific reason I had to face the fact to blame on her side. Of all the facts of life that I couldn’t accept that a study by John Hopkins University produced the fact that taller people live longer than shorter one which I believe the fact that directed to me. The study later challenged by Harvard in 1993 saying living longer is not depend s on the height nor skin colour but the waist expand may cause the life shorter. Thanks Harvard for a fair study well at least I can sleep well. Reading this book is like listening to old folk’s advice. For better or worse it’s how we implement our good practicing in life.

nasi lemak buah bidara

I had spent my ten ringgit to give a time for movie called Nasi Lemak which quite controversial for some people who want to see it in political way. I have different view to watch a movie, then give my opinion rather than blow the whistle without any race. Namewee is politically a controversial name in this country. True enough in his Nasi Lemak he tried to correct his last time mistakes so that it could be acceptable. I don’t need to explain the storyline but by saying that the movie is full of humor and you might get another perception about him after watching this.
Nasi Lemak 2.0 is actually dedicated to Malaysian and you need some intelligence to digest what is his direction is all about, bus as a cynical-comedy it derived to laugh and think. If you’re a bimbo, or someone who don’t really follow what’s going on in Malaysia, then this movie is a plain, nonsensical comedy with loads of computer effects about someone who is just trying to make the best Nasi Lemak to you.
Wait; don’t judge the person or judge what was happen, judge the movie. Nasi Lemak 2.0 is very colourful, exquisitely scripted, thought provoking and highly inspirational-but not in a bad way that most skeptics have been expecting before the launching of this movie. Definitely not in a bad way, I can vouch for that.
This movie is very thought provoking and tells a lot of social issues that we may and may not be aware of. There’s a lot of hidden messages and methaphor in this movie. Even the characters’ physical appearance actually means something in Nasi Lemak 2.0.
There’s much to be said about Nasi Lemak 2.0. I’ll try to review it without revealing too much spoilers.
Namewee played as Chef Huang, the main character in this movie represent someone who is too proud of his own ethnicity and refuse to acknowledge that he is actually a true Malaysian. He is always too proud with the fact that he’s a Chinese, and refused to learn new things and be humble, even though he’s on the verge of being a beggar on the street and whatnot. Simply put, Chef Huang is a character that represents a lot of people in Malaysia who are still too proud of their own ethnicity and have tendency to discriminate others. In this movie they called it Hero Huang and he served everyone’s problem including a girl who suddenly panicked after her naked photo being uploaded in facebook.
Enter the story proceeds with Chef Huang being jobless after his restaurant had been took over. Then enters Xiao K, an ugly girl who constantly bug Chef Huang to help her to save her family business from falling to the hands of her unscrupulous aunt. Xiao K is a very kind hearted girl with the thick eyebrow, but Chef Huang called her a nuisance because she’s ugly and throughout the movie, he’s portrayed as someone who loves to judge people by the way they look and through their ethnicity- again, something that a lot of us tends to do.
Chef Huang eventually relented and decided to change to be a better man with the help of Xiao K. Slowly, he started to be humble and gradually, he begin to comes out from his comfort zone by learning to cook something new apart from just cooking his Chinese fried rice-nasi lemak. Throughout his journey and his quest to search for the best Nasi Lemak recipe, he met a lot of charismatic people who taught him various things in life through their recipe.
There are a lot of moral values in this story-reflected and portrayed by various characters, and it’s up to the viewers to interpret each and every one of it. Nasi Lemak 2.0 is a movie that teaches you to be humble, not discriminate as well as stereotyping. Family values and the importance of family ties and living in harmony with each other are included in this movie too.
Viewers are also encouraged to follow their dreams, forgive those who have wronged you and not judge people by the way they look or define them by their ethnicity. And if one watched closely enough, another message that’s included in this movie is to be brave enough to admit your mistakes, apologize and do the right thing by making an effort to correct your mistakes. People are also encouraged to give a second chance to people who have made terrible mistakes in their life.
I like how wonderful messages like “Money is the root of all evil” and “Why can’t we just get along?

We’re all the same despite of our skin colour and the language that we speak” were interwoven so delicately in this movie. It’s very subtle and delicately put, and when the movie comes to an end, I’m amazed by how most of the characters have grown and changed to be a better version of themselves.
Apart from being highly educational and inspirational, this movie is also humourously sarcastic and highly entertaining. It comes with a lot of nice soundtrack and catchy dancing scenes, just like a Bollywood movie and a typical Chinese song which was being translated in English. Namewee mat be a lot of influence of Stephen Chow and some characters like Adibah Noor, Afdlin and Dato David really helps in spine his directive.

What'd been past is past and don’t dirty your brain from any organization. Dig out your skeptical thing, push away the racial prejudice and enjoy the movie.

a day of grumbling

Good news is I won the bid. I mean I get the scholarship and that’s mean two years without publishing my stoner face at the office. I’ll be doing real estate and this is my another try to get away from paysage. I can’t wait for that but after getting bundle of statistic notes from Sab, I feel like to turn anticlockwise of my decision. Congratulation my colleagues who’d been promoted last week. They deserve it. Few things just drop on me after raya and on HLP briefing day, I met someone named Shan who knew my old friend, Che Pah. According to him, she married with a Chinese doctor who she met at Belgium and still now under confinement. Wow so excited to meet her .
The excitement is totally healed me from some old school friends who cynically publicize their comments on my english usage on effbee. That’s normal for women and they always take things emotionally. Using snow as metaphor was directly point to me and I’m not stupid on that. Well, I just crossed them out to avoid any of my sarcastic reacts. Let it be and I think that’s the right attitude to handle cheap people.

Another thing in this September is I just can’t forget a discussion with one of my bosses who have a serious verbal slip or may be spoonerism. We were discussed about a gimmick for a lunching day and a proposal of bringing the origami just pop-up from one of the colleagues. Guess what? My boss had positively responded on buying the idea but he said onani instead of origami. I just walked off after that.

A Doctor In The House : My Full Review

A Review for KIK Competition

Many of us have been waiting a memoir of a statesman like Tun Dr Mahathir to be printed. There are a lot of books produced about him but of course it will be something different reading a book written by ‘the man’ himself. The moment it was launched at MPH Mid Valley, I grabbed the book with his exclusive signature and it made whole my day. “A Doctor in the House” which has 843 pages, it may take quite sometimes to read but maybe at that time I was too eager with the book, so that reading is better than everything.
The first question you may ask is why the title is a doctor in the house? It may sound deep and cynical and I asked some opinion but the most logical answer is the house in that case means parliament. What the author is trying to tell us maybe he is a doctor in the parliament and that’s the only my personal perception.
The book has 28 chapters where the first chapter until chapter 9 is all about history and facts after facts. So if that the case for those who are not really into history and reading , just pick up the Marvel comics instead of reading this.
Reading about our idol shaped our life sometimes perhaps it needs a high discipline motivated. Personally, I dislike doing nothing where my life considered ‘time at large’ and ‘a big void is expanding’ so that the alternative is now is reading my favourite book.

On his schooldays and British-Japanese Occupation
As a memoir, the first chapter may hypnotize the reader by telling us that the first prime minister who comes from ordinary family and the first physician top leader instead of lawyer is only him. This first chapter is not really dramatic as what I expected but just a summary of his political carrier until he’d been sworn as the fourth prime minister. Jump to the next chapter, it visualized us how Dr. Mahathir was in his very early age. It is also derived us the way he brought up as normal Malay in small town and how hard work and his passion to his studies. He did throw his comment on polygamy practicing in Muslim marriage and he wrote something like this “The implication is clear: Quran advocates one wife, not four. By no means is he saying that monogamous marriages are perfect.
As a statesman and the former leader of Malay ruling party, he also try to prove us on how strong his Malay spiritual blood and believe nor there are bad jokes behind him saying that he is not really Malay and inherited Indian blood. On his view towards the Malay he always wanted to prove otherwise, that Malays were more than capable of thinking, progressing and leading. Nearly every Malay has some non Malay blood but that fact doesn’t make them less Malay. He also commented on why the Malaysia leader always Malay Muslim being selected by giving examples in Britain has never had head of government who was not white or Christian. Then what's wrong by having Malay Muslim Prime Ministers all this while? The clear statement from him, it is because collective of votes and the numbers of Malays in this country answered the argument. Again, the aftermath will comes later and people would say it sounds racism.

On chapter four, Tun Dr. Mahathir defined Malay as person who habitually speaks Malay, practices Malay customs and is a Muslim based on constitution. He also quoted that a network of modern expressways and tarred roads, reaching the most remote villages joins all parts of our country together as prove of our independence. During British time, only estates and properties owned by them would be accesses by the proper roads. A few paragraph telling us how British spun the history for their own goods and benefits. They might not rewrite the history as a whole but twisted the plot from the bully and antagonist to the white character. He also elaborates how British Occupation controlled all the top post in the civil service and how they controlled the economic by splitting the three major races in this country and that affected our racial prejudice until today.
Tun Dr. Mahathir also wrote about his diet during war time. “Even so I would first eat the rice mixed with curry and beans, saving shrimp for the last mouthfuls” .He told us how suffers the locals at that time as the raw food and material being controlled by the Japanese. He also expressed on how he felt during Occupation period and see everything is in suffers. “I just detested the fact that foreigners could kick our people and we could do nothing about it. We were a people with no rights, who could literally be kicked about. On his view about joining the government service he said he did quite well in his little business and certainly he think was better off than his brothers who kept trying to work with the Government. That shows he encourage people to do a business. On small business he said “There were a lot of things that I learnt from my foray into small business during the Japanese Occupation which stood me in good stead as I took on more responsibilities in life, including running the Government and its numerous companies. On the different chapter he digs some Singapore’s story where the government would be largely filled from the ranks of those who were qualified and competent, namely Chinese and Indian. Malays would be left to take up low ranking posts.

I read thoroughly chapter eight and I found the main gist is that the Malayan Union proposal can be said have changed the culture and character of the Malays completely. This chapter again, telling us about the sufferings of local during the emergency time.
He tried to educate the reader that the peaceful of a country is intangible value. Reading a memoir of a statesman make me wonder how could he memorize those entire thing; if it not by date of fact then the name and what had happened were so tough to remember. I think what had been wrote was covers almost every single gist of Malaysia pre war history.

Going to Medical College and Steps to be Prime Minister
This is the utmost chapter I enjoyed reading where he describes his experience in medical-college time. He seems enjoy ragging the juniors but never being sadistic and cross the line. He then justified that running a country is not just about debating in parliament but also curing social, economic and political disease. I like his love story when he had to borrow $5 from Hasmah in their date at Marine Parade Singapore. It sounds so sincere and we can capture the funny thing about him. On the other chapter, the history is recalled but this one is more on political set up before our independence day. Many names were mentioned like Reese Williams, Oliver Lyttleton and Sun Yat Sen. Dr. Mahathir expressed his energy weakness by becoming a doctor is he didn’t have enough sleep. On his clinic, he told that MAHA is an acronym of Mahathir and Hasmah and not his name alone hence Hasmah never walks to the clinic. The funny thing about being a doctor is most of people they came into contact were sick and some were dying or died during treatment.

He also then explained on how the father of Independent proposed for a freedom nation being highlighted in this chapter. On argument about the race- base leadership, he said that Catholics were unacceptable to be the president of US and they only accept WASP (White Anglo Saxon Protestants) except the current president, Barack Obama.

The most shocking General Election to him was, when he lost in 1969 to PAS weak candidate because of being too Malay in his speech. He took a lesson on that matters and said racial issues is always baseless. On the relationship with Singapore, he also added that he never has a friendship with Lee Kuan Yew only civil relationship but he stress that the Lee Kuan Yew strongly wants to be a Malaysian Prime Minister.

Dr. Mahathir explained on why he was being expelled from Umno that is because of the letter he wrote accusing Tunku Abdul Rahman doing nothing in handling May 13. This chapter is he bravely revealed about the attitude of the first prime minister and his bad habits, playing poker. In those days he seems a bit aggressive and rebel as he believes that putting neck out on believing something. He then wrote the book that hit him, Malay Dilemma and he justified why he wrote the book and the price had being paid was he being expelled from the party and he express how to be an outsider from the ruling party. He said be a rebellious person is a risky and sometimes not worth for what we have been done but few people do that and they tend to play safe. On his inner side, he then described that of all his children, Marina is a lot like him, stubborn and argumentative. On his “leisure time” whenever he was being expelled from UMNO, he said he did deal with property things in Kedah and also said he can claim to be the first Malay property developer in the country which something that most people don’t know about this.
UMNO Open its Doors and be the Prime Minister.
He backed on stage and he a lot praised Tun Abdul Razak. Few Umno leaders seem doesn’t like him backed like Syed Jaafar Albar . He saw most urban Malays so grieve because they have not made the necessary adjustments. He then commented about buying the latest technologies made no sense of producing small market and sounds admitting something hidden mistake. He added here that Malay culture notably middle class and urban Malay has become individualistic, competitive, egoistic and materialistic now. Of all, he admires Tun Abdul Razak a lot in administering the government. He again stressed on why English is important nowadays. A good story about one of his rival in the past General Election named Halim Arshad who never passed his English test and fighting to be exempted due to his social activities in the campus. Halim then was being kicked from ITM. Failed in fighting for English exemption and had made him joining the politic. Dr. Mahathir told one of his great moments when sworn as the fourth Prime Minister.

He Justified All
He sees no reason to reassess most of the major political controversies associated with him: among them, the dismissal and prosecution of his deputy, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim; the sacking of Lord President Salleh Abas; and the campaign to oust his hand-picked successor, Tun Abdullah Badawi.

He makes an exception of Operation Lalang, which saw the detention without trial of 119 people amid rising ethnic tensions in 1987. Dr Mahathir brushes aside much of the specific criticism directed at him and his ambitious projects over the years, not even bothering to mention some crucial events in which he figured. A bold leader with big ideas and no time for critics who carp about details, he occasionally peeks in the mirror and recognizes reality.

It should also be acknowledged that the book goes some way towards answering one question that has long puzzled on why he introduced AUKU and he justified by saying that education is important and the student has play their role to study and not to demos and publicize their emotion. The government had spent so much money on education so that is such a waste of tax payer money if the student denying their book and raise the flag with emotion.

Dr Mahathir might have been expected to take this opportunity to clear up certain personal issues that have long been the subject of intense gossip and speculation, such as his ethnic origins. Rather, he repeats without comment several stories that circulate about his father’s ethnicity and religion. He then adds: ‘I admit that some Indian, or more accurately South Asian, blood flows in my veins, but from which part of the Indian subcontinent my ancestors came I do not know.’

It would also have been fascinating to get an authoritative insider’s account of the long-ruling Umno, whose history has been described by one former minister as ‘a mixture of political subtlety and crudeness, ethical practices and greed, fair play and foul occasionally expressed with sheer ruthlessness’.

But the only place where Dr Mahathir lifts the veil a little is on the Cabinet, and that is to show the ugly side of his former long-serving trade minister Rafidah Aziz. Nobody dared fault her.’ If you criticized her, even courteously and in good faith, her retort was always to point out how much worse you yourself were,’ he writes. ‘It was all very unpleasant.’

Dr Mahathir does himself no favours by reopening the debate over Operation Lalang, stressing the point he made at the time, that the head of the police force advised the round-up to prevent a repeat of the May 13, 1969 racial riots. He justifies his decision by claiming he had to suppress his personal doubts and defer to the role and expertise of the police on the controversial decision.

As a home minister during his tenure, he signed the detention orders for each of the 119 detainees held beyond 60 days on police authority. He kept then parliamentary opposition leader Lim Kit Siang and his son Lim Guan Eng in jail for 18 months and he justified the decision made based on national security. Dr Mahathir claimed that on taking office in 1981 he informed his deputy Musa Hitam that he did not intend to use the Internal Security Act, which provides for detention without trial.

In the preface to this blockbuster, Dr Mahathir expressed doubt that it is ‘readable’, even after he agonized over the text and rewrote all 62 chapters ‘at least five times’. Dr Mahathir has produced a book to burnish his maverick credentials – as Malaysia’s longest-serving prime minister, a Third World champion who stands up to the West and a fearless spokesman for Islamic causes.

For instance, while in office Dr Mahathir accepted the Sept 11 attacks on New York and Washington as the work of terrorists. Now he thinks the whole thing could have been ‘an elaborately staged drama’ to persuade the world that the US had been attacked. But opinion, however outrageous, is one thing; facts are another matter altogether.

There are also some contradicts sentence like when he said was involved in a housing development in Alor Setar, from which he says ‘I did not make much money’, but which yielded ‘quite a lot of money’ in another reference. ‘Finding no strong opposition among my colleagues’, Dr Mahathir signed up Mr. Anwar as a member of Umno in 1982 – but in fact ‘many senior members of the party did not like him because he posed a threat to their own ambitions’.

When the Malaysian authorities were considering banning Barry Wain’s book, Malaysian Maverick: Mahathir Mohamad in Turbulent Times, Dr Mahathir spoke in favour of allowing it into the country. He made the case for everyone having their say so the public could make up its own mind about his record. Besides that, he justified that all mega projects that he pampered would benefit the country and now Malaysian is enjoying all the facilities.

Of all the examples of the story behind his success, the most attractive one was the reason of why he decided to construct a straight PLUS highway. It was a started from their love story between him and Hasmah. During the college time, both of them had suffer enough to spend ten hours on the road travelling from KL to Singapore using the curvilinear small road. The art of language written by Dr. Mahathir is so entertaining and that’s his remarkable style. His speech and writing always parallel all the time. By putting the rationale thinking, common sense, facts and some good arithmetic examples in any of his development plan shows that he is capable leader and one step higher than other leaders in the country. From the master planning of heavy automotive industry like Proton and Hicom, the Petronas Twin Towers, the great spine of Plus Highway, the modernization of urban locomotive transportation and upgrading the agro-based country to the developed county is all in his task and no ones can deny that

It may be self-serving to say so, but anyone wanting to get a balanced perspective of the Mahathir years should read beyond A Doctor in the House but no matter how much you love or hate him, this book is must read.

History Channel

History is the branch of knowledge that records and analyzes past events and never telling lies but we can rewrite the history as such Singapore . What most important about the history is what we learnt from the time lining, characters and morals.

Today history is being discussed most everyday where the heroes and the enemies is the main subject. The pros and contras by two different entities had been whistle-blown to gain millage. Of course we beg to differ. The former prime minister TDM said the younger generation considered the fight for independence as a common matter as they were born in a country that was already independent and prosperous.

"As such, the younger generation considered it as just a process experienced by many nations.

"However, if we were to visit other countries which achieved independence at the same time with us, we would find that they were not as developed as Malaysia," he said.

The professor’s view is a joke and the man who kick start the issue is a joker. Now they are trying to spin and spin and hoping to confuse everyone .If you cannot convince them, confuse them and that’s the current practice of neither mainstream media nor alternative media. Both are childish prattle masquarading the news every single column on the net, screen and printed. What we have now is what the ancestor’s struggle instead of our full effort. To gain something there will be varies method. Some might fighting blood to the end, some might do it half way and some might do it another way. I believe that our fore fathers choose joining the British when they found the dead end. If you cannot fight them, join them. Still, it is an effort when you cannot win all for at least you win some rather than you loose all.

I don’t deny the contents in http://vimeo.com/344899 but at least we can survive and having a good life now. . Whether the history had been written chronologically or not at least, we are much better than our ancestors and of course we inherited some of their values. I was among people who are grateful.

By distance, the heaven is just too far

It’s raya again and red is colour of this year. Some might like it some not but I just don’t care and this year Red Hot Chili Peppers is just the choice of mine. I left KL on Friday with free flow traffic and reached hometown at 12 midnight. Breaking fast while driving with a bun and continued with Kasim Mustapha’s Nasi Kandaq next to Sunway Carnival with heavy rain. Next day, my father and I went to town to find groceries and this time he drove my car with lots of worries in brain cells. I noticed he tend to be pampered with me this few years. Thing I love to do when back to my home town is chatting while driving with him except he tends to repeat the same stories most of the time. Of all stories we discussed, the story of my cousin’s marriage was something shocked me. Again this year the main topic is a destruction of a marriage. Abg *** and Kak ***, a very much loving couple from my observation and now facing void in their long time marriage and that’s left me flabbergasted. People change and no matter how much you pretend to be an angle, the true colour will appear at last. I just couldn’t believe it and that’s proved that, by distance the heaven is just too far.

p.s: Happy Birthday to my princess..Yasmine Shahnaz

Selamat Hari Raya

A little bit misunderstanding of my past writing but nevermind, let it be taken by the event and now is in the mood of going back to hometown for raya. Going back and meet my parents and since they are still exist and alive, no matter how was being suffocated by my father last time, I‘d see him as the best father of the world and none other than that.

After tarawih, watching mainstream channel is no more my interest so that viewing blogs kind of something enjoyable. Ceritakakwan and ricecooker.com were quite interesting and there are rationale in between of the good side and antagonist while ranting by MM is still in the mode of critical social thinking. Viewing politics’ blog nowadays made me vomit and both sides I believe are in emergency call. The sympathy brochure launched and fighting the reputation of the first lady’s ring made my brain cells focused on acid trick accident recently while waiting the big day of poll.

Joe Kidd ‘s art of writing remains the same as I read him the past 15 years when we wrote the blasting concept and Aedes magazine. It s a little odd at the age of 40 plus, and he is still talking about indie, underground and anti establishment. C’mon wake up.. Joe, there's nothing you can fight with shark's name because the world is belonging to capitalist and you won’t get anything by fighting them. If you can’t fight them, then just join them. Be part of capitalist and grab the chances and enjoy the facilities. You won’t see the real world if you never clean –up your baby’s poo.

But meantime, I am damn hoping that hlp result would be on positive side and I can’t wait to leave the office for two years. yeah finally an invitation of a wedding laid on my messy table but nothing shock as I knew it earlier but giving him some space of to be personal then I’ve got nothing to ask for. So that congrats to Mahathir and finally ….on your mark, get set..hahaha..

I better pack my stuff now so I better wish Selamat Hari Raya and Mintak Maaflah kalau ada yg tersalah tulis....to the rest of Muslim ,the Muslim wannabes, the lovers, the haters and the leftovers of all over the world.

Meet The Republican

I always think that Ramadan is the time when the carburetor supposed to calm down. It is after all the time for reflection, restraint and perhaps reboots of one's faith through the acts of fasting and prayer. It is also a time for charity and kindness. Its Ramadan again and again this year, Republique of Kulim in my house for the bukapuasa and that’s I consider charity perhaps doing something to gather all my close my friends is something enjoyable. Zareene seems in the mood of cooking and ready to sweat of preparing the food while Yasmine so excited to meet Adam, Nizam eldest son. I believe Shanaz can be controlled if she meets strangers, so it is 21st of Ramadan and I save the night just for Kulim’s friend occasion. “Meet The Republic of Kulim” and they are: Mat Besi, Nizam & Pham, Munna, Rizzoe, Kayree n Mat Spec the must attendees of my Iftar almost every year. Out of them, only Munna had a chance having lunch in my Red House, Mat Besi and Mat just dropped by one of those nights and the rest, they’d never. Mat came late at 9 pm plus after cycling at Kiara, I supposed and most of us wonders whether he puasa or not and we did joke on him before he came. The most hot topic was about Alone’s disappearance and Kayree’s wedding on this coming February. Meantime it was zigzagging Nizam’s new SLR as the main attraction of the night and Munna was cursing on the driver who hit his 407 last week and I find Munna’s high-octane curse cheered the night. Mat on his trademark always overlapped the gist of story and make the chatting out of tune sometimes. For some reason we have deemed it necessary to create much noisy and chaos that night as many things to gossip and serious is just not our topics. Rizzoe should be reward as “reporter of the year” as the latest hot stuff always from him while Yasmine and Adam was so busy in light up the fireworks. What the most worried me if Steven, my neighbor going to complain about our noisyious –maximus especially Munna and I who have been granted special mic and speaker effects since born. Well let the photos speak on behalf of us and we finished our considered “free-beer party” at 12 midnight without dog’s barking.

Thank God It's Friday

After taking a break literally and only now I wish Salam Ramadan to everyone. On top of that , on few days of early hungry calendar, I had to attend a funeral of an uncle from Zareene's site who was admitted in IJN for 12 days if I'm not mistaken. I managed to perform Solat Mayat , listening to the talkin due to my last respectable service to him. Thank God It's Friday and besides chairing a meeting in the morning there is nothing but the most shocking news of today that people around me are getting married and going to engaged just around the corner without telling me. How dare... that I was fooled by their silent and they pretend blur plus blank made me nothing to believe. But hey.. I got to break silence ha..haha.. Let me put the blank cheque on the personnel overhere as my blog was tailored to duplicate in my fb account and they are my fb friends as well. I get too worried if some of the friends get wondered and asked me and I don’t how to report if the buddy got nothing to reveal with me. Hmm …if I can recap an Irish poem said, "If you want praise, die, if you want blame, marry". Then what had happened by too secretive might be good example. Then shall I say “ Happy Marry and Marry Engagement” … ? Duhh..Congrats

Bumblebee Buzzing

Yesterday was weird, for after how many years I never lay my ass in the stadium, then I did for a purpose. Watching football and not the concert this time. The last time I bounced to National Stadium was in 2000 watching Rentak Asia , Steve Vai and Eric Johnson . While F1 was the main dish, I went rocks with the concert. I didn't watched The Gunners, The Reds and The Blues games as I believed the exciting is not there. Why must I spend money to watch a game between a gladiator and a clown?

Pissed off with jerk in my office, watching football considered blood stabilizer to me. Taking LRT to Bukit Jalil with office mates but now with jersey , is a new experience. Yellow is not just the new Black but it is the colour of July. Another Yellow party in town after Bersih and Jacob's Walk of Life. The last night game might be tribunal where many puzzles have to solve by fighting the Lions. The angry tiger roaring and it rocks . I only discover my football skill via newspapers articles and TV screen but physically my football skills sucks.Yup .. kaki bangku and I am true poser and only lately since our football climate has changed, somehow rather it boosts my adrenalin to watch a football in stadium. The last time I watched football in Stadium was sometimes Kedah being defeated at final with KL , if I'm not mistaken. Kedah was damn joke to KL at that time. After the bribery case to Liga Semi Pro , I totally shut down the Malaysian chapter and I believe the player just meat puppets. The football was circus showcase to me.

Bukit Jalil mushroomed with the yellow black army and they get ready to protect their country now. Damn great feeling when you wre in part of the crowd with the same colour. My last night FB status was Selamat Menonton RTM 1 had some responds from my friends.
It is unjustified if I give a football review so that I urge the readers just get the mainstream coverage but I may buzz in my own way. Yeaah we lost and despite lost we put a good effort . Our defensive system is a joke and they are fagot and our first half is really under turmoil. The whole nation just wish that Rajagopal could do something about this or hijacking Robocop like what Singapore is doing may be one one of the solution . Only two person should be credit given, Apeks and Safee Salee. The curse from our nation bumblebee when we watch too much drama played by the Singapore 's player. Despite believing our football need the witchcraft and black magic touch, the last night game doesn't stop me to continuing watching our football.. BZZZzzzz

17th July : The Real BERSIH

So I went... (Sound so cliché like rantings huh u hu…) but not the Walk for Democracy but this Walk of Life organized by Jacobs, the biscuits company not diamond ring.

I have to say that the night before I was a bit worried If couldn’t finished the 6 kilometers walk without any warm up before and I’d really lazy to exercise all this while. My wife registered for the whole family but finally we decided not to bring the kids as we really bother the burden of carrying Yasmine at my back and Shahnaz at my wifey’s back. So we just sent them to their Mama Sofiya.

I woke up at 6.00 am and after Subuh I drove to Shah Alam and took a mug of Milo for my breakfast. We parked at community hall parking bay from there, we walked to Taman Pertanian Bukit Cahaya .I saw many of peoples wearing the yellow t- shirt and I said I was stuck in a rally. Oh my God, another Bersih, I wish the cops won’t get me the tear gas. Meanwhile a troop of Rela was stationed outside the venue but after a while they all went off after the traffic calm down.

Bukit Cahaya , a supposed to be forest reserve but half of the acres being chopped down by the profit oriented developers. Green but not virgin. We reached the registration counter as early as 7.00 am and there were thousands of yellowed people who get ready to walk. A speech by nobody really irritating the crowds as the way he pronounced English sucks at the official ceremony and fortunately Fara Fauzana who is the ambassador of the biscuit took over and run the stage smoothly. To cut it short, the walk started at 8.30 am and we manage to take the biscuit for the light breakfast.
Yeaah… yeah… the sloping ups and down of the Bukit Cahaya had me curse several time and I feel like fainted. The walk of life now turn to walk to die as I really damn tired but looking at Zareene so in the high motivated of breath walking, I should pretend my ego on that matter.
A nice ambience where I still can enjoy looking some of the participants were hot chicks but looking some of them who suffered carrying their kids, I felt thank god not to bring them together especially when the walk hiking up to the hilly part. At one point of the hill, there was a road named Jalan Bersih and everyone was so excited to snap some photos there, not exceptional me, myself. Yeah.. to remind the Bersih and looking at the current situation seems like Yellow is the New Black and all the dirt’s parts fall to the royal colour now.

The last kilometer was quite challenging and it really testing your foot breaking system. The hilly part was down up to the 60 percent of slope and it very dangerous to the kids and senior citizen. While we walked to the finished line, we saw again Fara Fauzana was walking opposite against us and Zareene had snapped photo with her. We finished the walk by Zareene joining the rumble of free goodies and at that time, I can’t help to pretend my ego again. I sat down at one of the corner and rubbed my leg with the Counterpain. We reached home at 1.00 pm after fetched the kids I slept until 6.00 pm. The unsaid experience and the rally walk that really "bersih" without any provocation, tear gas and the motive is just a healthy life.

From A KL Friendster

Since I came to this big city, I joined so many companies and eventually decided to work with a company that promised not to bankrupt, the government.
17 years in big city, I see various ways people make a living. People with different walk of life running their daily expenses from some wage earners like me, the night market dealers, taxi drivers, and many more and there are some who really glitter in their career like corporate leaders.
Bitter sweet pill in a big city and the challenges of life is karma. Some may win, some lose depends on the efforts and their faith. Walking to Chow Kit and Kampung Baru, we might have seen many stalls run by outsiders. Uptown, Downtown, Street Walk Nighttown and lymph samples of their business and we can see Indons carry outlets. There are our small- medium business entrepreneurs. In other words, a prosperous country is a country that is easy to make life and business transactions without any restrictions. We left them a blank cheque to be completed, participated in the rally and we showed what we left and finally we blame other people that share taken by others.

My friend who had just returned from the UK told me that there is a tax of up to 40% of what is stated in the pay slip for an employee. In addition, TV and radio also have a license and taxes paid. Fresh engineer salary in KL may be only RM3000, but they only have to pay about RM 50. However, making the noise is a property of our citizens. Malaysian always choose to mumbling rather than grab the opportunity and never been grateful for what they have. They feel as if they might be happier if their children had each day be the Jedi rebellion instead of going to school. What is the justice that they will see? Are they really the desire for freedom of speech but have a hard time to make a living? Can we burp with the freedom of speech without food in the stomach?

As for myself, I just want my children to live in peace in the city. Growing up with an adequate education, respect for the elderly and able to stand on their feet. Outsiders just easily come here making profits and taken back to their respective states. For us we prefer deal with demonstrates. We choose to fight the sinister way with something that we have for a long time.

9th July : Anarchy In The KL & Floria 3.0

9th July. While Bersih is trying clean up the electoral system, I made my own way. I was never influenced by any parties to join their rallies perhaps; I'm a rally virgin and believed the current political turned to be infectious maggots. Like I said in my previous article, it’s all about cakes seizing and who’s gonna be the so called “breadwinner of the country. “.
“Before they go to Putrajaya”, I decided to go to Putrajaya and enjoy the third Floria. This year, my “won-bid umbrella” is taking part in the garden competition. That’s tradition to my jabatan to borrow my umbrella as part of their garden accessories. The theme of ‘Roses are forever” maybe borrowed by the catchy James Bond’s movie titled “Diamonds are forever”.
Yasmine so keen to be part of promotional team and she was giving leaflets and handouts to the public who transited at JLN’s steel garden. Shahnaz was crying out loud all day long and maybe temperature is just not for her to enjoy the garden display show. Our garden just next to “Penang’s expensive garden” and I said to one of my colleagues, there is only one way to beat them which is a striptease show on the judging day.

While we walk to view the other gardens, we met Dato’ Seri Najib and he looked calm like no rally would be held of the day. While KL is still hustle-bustled by the rally, I saw the Mayor eating something in the pack food. Maybe he’s too dizzy with the city’s current problem and the protocol’s breakfast is too late for his tummy. Yesterday’s Bernama news reported his mayor-ship had been extended by another year. Ohh yes.. He has strong character. We backed home at 3.30pm and grabbed my Aspire One. Khairy,Mat Sabu, Ambiga, Anwar and many political leaders had been arrested said Mkini.com. Serve them right.
Mat and Munna had cancelled our “TT” session due to roadblock at NKVE. I took ablution and discovered my right hand still smelled of the yesterday Kudu’s curry.

Flesh N Blood in Political Playground

To understand the present political scenario is very weird and unpredictable. The racial prejudice is still something debatable and most likely every parties is fighting the portion of their cake besides fighting for the fair election.

I frequently spend my free time by reading blogs from famous people of the country. My blog list are mostly from politician or if not they are might be politic's reporters and or else they related to politic. To sum up about the current politic, what I can say is, nothing more about struggle and sacrifice but it is more about how to win the slice of the cake. Some people might don’t agree with this, as they considered me as unqualified person to talk about politics. But…whatever it is, I just want throw my idea what do I feel about father – kid’s leadership as I see there are weird things amongst political inherited stand. In this country and many countries, politician often produce politician which is means this career is inherited by generation. Some of the clear examples are like the current Prime Minister , Datuk Seri Najib who is the son of the second Prime Minister, Tun Razak , Anwar and Nurul Izzah, George Bush Sr. and Jr., Tun Mahathir and Mukhriz, Indira and Rajiv Ghandhi and many more, which their stand is still in the same foundation as like father like son, like father like daughter.

On the other hand I also captured there are few of them who produce the other opinion’s product. Meaning to say their kids are opposed them in their political manner. Does political stand separate family? No and yes depend on cases. If you run through the history, Dr. Mahathir seems more to like an ultra- Malay who fight everything for the Malays and his stand was made other races worried. From the moment he started the Malay Dilemma until he stepped down, he always talk about the Malay development and he really bother about the Malay growth but from “A Doctor in the House” he denied being a racist. By and large, most Malay is more comfortable during his tenure-ship and why? Because no matter how modern thinking Tun is, he still back to the roots or there are still conventional way in him. Mukhriz ? He is okay and now that he seems at the same mould with the father but what about Marina? the well-known social activist. She and her SIS buddies , and what do tou think of her? What can be concluded if you read Rantings by MM and what kind of person Marina is? Is she liberal? urbanist , feminist or modern? Whatever your perception is, you might agree that they way she brought up give a prime impact or some extrovert influence to her in such a manner. The moment she asked some Malay women to flock at Starbucks Bangsar last year proved she’s the other way around and may be a lil bit liberal . O maybe because of her multiracial mixed around forced her to be like that or what but her statement towards some race on her blogs a lil bit harsh( u read n discover this ) The way she expressed her point on her blogs most like a police chasing a robber and contradicts with her father.

Now, let's just see the icon related to the current issue, Bersih 2.0. I see Datuk A Samad Said is someone who against the present government and his attendance on some of the public rally show he’s really unsatisfied on certain things. He who asked to give statement at Dang Wangi Station regarding her ammunition poem and the way he recalled the Boston Tea Party in his poetic ammo (Unggun Bersih) sounds he think the current administer is really helter-skelter. Does Nuraina agreed with that? I’m not sure but I saw some of this NST journalist writings are more to pro the government. Who else? Pairin and Jefrey Kitingan, Khalid Samad and Shahrir Samad, Zairil and Khir Johari.

What is happening in the current political crisis had made my brain cells digest a little bit on the family factor in understanding the political stand. What exactly fathers think may not influence the children? Or whether children today are very stubborn to not want to listen to the parents directly? Now I must be worried about both of my daughter, not about the politic wise but if they totally against me in the future. I’d better be paranoid now rather than regret at the end of the day. I might not agree with my father on certain aspect, but most of his advice proved of my faith today.
