Malaysian Idol

Unlike every Friday, the last Friday Pray I performed at Masjid Negara was so exciting. I had a chance to shake hand with our most prolific leader Tun Mahathir which the same feeling I guess ,If I could meet Paul Mc Cartney . He did ask me what am I doing for a living, and then I told him that I work with government. He then advised me to do a business for a better life. I thought of this prolific leader only urge people to venture a business in public for the political millage purposes but now I can see the sincerity of his words. The Star online reported Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad’s autobiography is selling like hot cakes nationwide. I was about to go the MPH Mid Valley yesterday to celebrate the book’s launching and get my copy but the Rolling Plan Exercise is killing me to do so. I am one of those who failed to buy the book I guess as I was told the book now is out of stock. The books entitled Doctor in the House, sharing the same name with a British television comedy in the early 80’s. The series based on a set of books and a movie by Richard Gordon about the misadventures of a group of medical students. I don’t quite understand the rational of using the same title but I really keen into this book.
I predict that there must be another side of him which we never explore and maybe the humorous part of him and his interest. Of course when talk about Dr, Mahathir, everyone would listen to him and most attention will definitely go to him. The most iconic and controversial leader and according to Tom Plate who wrote the book entitled Operation Malaysia, the good thing referring Dr. Mahathir is he said what he thinks and the bad thing about him he said what he thinks .
I did collect some books related to him no matter how it’s bad. The revelation of 100 billion waisted as published on Maverick and some slanders toward him are may just the prerogative but I myself believe that he is worth exist as Malaysian leader rather than others. I believe that those people who never do mistakes meaning to say he did nothing for his life. If we compare the mistakes has been done compare to good things he serve for the country then we knew can measure how important this leader compare to others. Wheather he act as Machiavelli or not, at least he proved many things rather than just rhetoric.
Nuraina Samad's blog reported.... Some people may find remarks by the Tun potentially slanderous. Asked about it, he responded to the effect "so, sue me.".. hah haa.. some people just want him to be bankrupt.
Reading much and more about him is some interesting but it doesnt change anything and still i am not capable to review any of books related to him , but the best thing to quote about him is, he may covers half of the Malaysian chapter. I am sure this book is different from what is written by Tom Plate, Pak Habib, Barry Wine, Kadir Jasin, or Chamil Wariya and I certainly will not be equal to the set of writings in his blog. One thing for sure is as heavy as heavy as Malay Dilemma but still well defined of his own way longhand writing. I can’t wait. ..

Motherland

The world may end up anytime from now. We see everyday almost all headlines reported the turmoil in Middle East and the current situation in Christchurch. Some Malaysian said they may unsatisfied here and there in this country. The oil price hike, low purchasing power and the limited ability of using money are may some typical complaints by the public. But one we must agree that our system is pure capitalist where you‘ll get more when you work more. Isn’t that fair that if the richness finally goes to those only real works. Can you just imagine how pathetic is if someone jobless is getting money every month? I saw some situations in Chow Kit where many stalls is mushroomed by the Indons and some car wash in operated by the banglas and does that shows how wealthy this country where foreigner can make money here and so why complaint? Can we say that the folks loser? The economy issues is not as bad as in Egypt where the salary of a physician equivalent to RM 800 here.

Christchurch is a beautiful place and the place where The Lords of the Ring was being shooted. Tourism is the main agenda and reported collecting USD 20 billion a year. It is like a heaven laid on earth for most tourists. Yesterday’s earthquake might transform this place into most nightmare tourism places. And now the Lord really shoots this heaven may be for some reasons.Wong Fuh To remains silent until now.
I feel like don’t go to anywhere and just want to stay home. Despite of the pocket emptiness, going outside is not a good idea now when the mother earth is really angry .

Snippet & Alphabet "L"

Lately, I observed many men who are still not married at the age of 30-s. Maybe they are too selected or not getting a good match. But from my observation those loser in majority, does not know how to bring themselves or their knowledge of seductive women are very weak. Sometime, the safe answer is not safe anymore and some might say don't count the chicken until it hatched. Yer right la,, piirah I am not a womanizer who are good at feminine rocket science, but the status of the having two kids prove that I managed to solve the problem of depression has no girlfriend or companion.
Recently I attend a coincident birthday party at my office. I was going for down to read news paper and suddenly was trapped to attend the party. It just a simple ceremony with blowing the candle and cake cutting without any other dishes. Simple but they are something made me wonder and few things trigger my mind to explore. A cake bought by someone bachelor where the birthday girl was married.
In normal circumstances, women do prefer if a man makes a surprise cake to buy or give gifts. But women also did not feel comfortable if their partner wearing compact powder or wearing make-up. This era, I think women are more comfortable if slightly shabby men and did not take the story to look away because what is more important for a woman is a common sense of men who approached her and feel protected.
A man, at the very beginning investing is something noble but prepared if there is an eye watching at you and laugh. Some men when asked about why are they still not settle down yet , the typical ego answer is just want have fun and enjoy the life but the fact that he himself suffered enough for being alone. We can see and understand if the man desperate or not for the way he sounds. If so many questions asked about how to get a woman, match make and so on or else always ask for outdoor activities with men, simple to say he might be loneliness and need a companion. A man will getting married if they are ready financially , physically and mentally but what if everything complied? Meaning to say, there are things not being complied yet only God knows why.
A single loneliness man always with outdoor activities among them .True enough, like what people said birds of the same feathers flock together but men don’t take photo with a man side by side fronting the sea and that’s look pathetic. Save some ego and just do what every man do but don’t do what a man doesn’t do.

Do we really different?

In patch this time I will touch on some Malaysian Indian. Regardless of people of Indian origin from Malaysia, or the Indian subcontinent of India. Coincidentally, I've been interacting with them. After graduating from UItm , I’ve always fated neighboring with Indian. Krishnan in TSD and Yogesh in TDD but I have never facing problem with them in fact , when I was being attacked by moron right in front of my house in 2006, Krishnan was the one who protecting me. I still remember when his dog died; I was the person to calm Krishnan. That shows how close we are. While Danya hospitalized at Columbia Asia because of the intestines and my family and I went to visit her .

I remember how Magesh crying like hell commemorate the fate of his daughter in front of me. Really sad and overwhelmedthen this morning, I went to breakfast at my favorite Indian store in Equine Park. There are two workers who recently arrived from India to replace two who have gone home. One hundred percent of the store employees are immigrants from India and a majority of the Indian subcontinent. The majority of the customers are Malays and Chinese customers. There is the curse of India Malaysia's own country, but job seekers from the Indian subcontinent came in throngs to feed themselves because their country does not have bread and butter their pleasure. And within the next 24 hours, we are all directly or indirectly are dragged into an activity initiated by the Indians, or more accurately the Hindu India. Something that I really don’t understand, why these entire things happen. Why can’t we live in peace despite different beliefs, skin color and culture " I really hope I will not be trapped in the middle and become victims of any political ideology. Why we should despise others?

Inner Square

Two months without any outgoing activities. The house –hold installation, new furniture purchasing and some maintenance works urged me to concentrate doing whatever necessary things and now, the roof leaking again makes my head in turbulence. As usual, I hired Mani and Krishna to repair the roof, meanwhile few neighbors complaining they are facing same thing.
Now I realized how TDD people do appreciate me. I felt very touched when many friends come and help me lift while moving house. Thanks to En. Zainal for his Hilux, Jamal, En Sabri and Fendi for lending their hands on me.
The house now is exactly like rolled inside the Egypt’s flag where the red, white and black only allowable in the house. At this point, I must get ready some critics especially backfire from my second sister who is so called knows everything about the interior design... ( duhh..)
When I visit Ahmad Dhani’s studio sometime in 2008 I was so amazed with the color scheme in his studio where the red colour and the frames play a big roll on the wall. I tried to convince Zareene in that sense to put as much as frames that can be put on but I supposed she never agreed with the idea. Talking about colours, it was quite challenge for me as the house I bought is a second hand house so that there are wall portion need to be repaint. When I asked around about the quotation to paint the house inner and outer it cost for about RM 5000. Cishh.. as a result I asked Krishna if the still have any Jotashield cream to paint the house. I paint myself finally and cost me about only RM 50 and it just to pay Krishna.
Choosing three base concept colors make my life runs misery past few weeks. It is hard to satisfy in home decorating especially when it is too conceptual and you will face a tough time to find furniture. Some of purchased stuff maybe wrong in scale or doesn’t blend with colours or else even worse it doesn’t fit to any space of your house.
Yesterday the sofa came after I blatantly curse on the seller for the late delivery. The home décor end up with I regret with the sofa I purchased. I don’t know but the scale is just not proportion at all compare to what I measure at the shop that day. I hate myself. S**t!

Roots bloody roots

I born in a rubber estate situated at the edge corner of the Malaysian map. My father was a religious teacher who registered himself as Peneroka Felda to top up his gross pay and to secure our living. All my tuition fees are the combines of ringgit and cents from the cup of latex. From the bowl of rice I eat to the Oxford dictionary is all from sweat of my parents and the rubber tree services. That is the most reason I never forgive for those who insult my hometown and my parent’s profession. To me, the rubber tree, the way I brought up and parent is too intimate and critics on those matters are illegal.

To be able speak and write in English and graduate in the local university, is never come across in my mind. It was not even a dot in my dream to own a house or a car. I was only a kid who always with the wooden gun while waiting my parents taps the rubber trees. Whenever my father grinding his rubber tapping knife, he always keep reminding me not to be like him when I grow up. That is the real picture of a kampong boy of me.

Day varies from day to day. I grew up and attended school in a boarding school in the city. To some extent it had the effect of good and bad for me. I began to learn to recognize without parents. I also accept foreign influence and make friends with various classes. But I never forgot my roots- the motion of my life with the help of rubber trees.

These days I'm an adult and have two small children. I am looking forward to telling my kids about how difficult my parents in raising me as a rubber tapper .Going hometown when a pocket full and festive holiday season is a practical traditions to me.

But I saw a different mode when I went back recently. It reflects the slight variations in my village. The least, apparently the rubber price has soared to 20 dollars per kilogram. I saw a lil bit changes where it shouldn’t be happened where near the mosque there was a mini karaoke. As for me it is an outbreak of stupid that I never agree. Fair enough if tok imam‘s speech in angst ridden.

The folks now look more stylish and they are smart. I heard stories some of them had ordered the brand new Proton Inspira. Wah.. Okay it’s an achievement.
I heard the news on TV3; their income reaches RM 50K per month. Fuh. It is much better than the salary of my director general. I think kind of like a pension now and back to hometown. Hone the blade cuts seems better than office work where you don’t have to worry about attending the meetings while eating liver, reports preparation , make a sweet face in the turbulent stomach.
I believe the story is being fabricated for the political purposes only. Sensation for votes, I guess. According to my father, RM 20 per kilo is only counted after it becomes scrap rubber so that rubber in the cup is remaining RM 7 per kilo. A lil bit higher than the normal price.Anti-climax.
The increment of rubber price has been widespread in mainstream media now. But in reality, the fact that there is certainly price up is true but not as told. I was carried away this story until it is back to KL in a very congested road. Twelve hours on the highway may break my bone fractures.
I feel pity to my kids. Shahnaz always cried and she wants to crawl like what she did at home while as usual always asked her Magika CD to be repeated. A fun experience on home and wonder mixed with fatigue. Rubber stories is really affected me. I think that is the way of thinking, as the son of a rubber tapper living in a rubber plantation.

Sick Of It All

Hoo ..hi dudes.. while my head zig-zagging with the pindah rumah and stuff, I still have a chance to watch news ..Gosh... Pyramid on the rocks.. hey what 's up ..what else..Power corrupts for three decades. While Aipco and Americans have their plan to re-map the world by sending the oriental proxies to be Arab's leader, the God Almighty has own plan. See now, the axis of evil and their clan are panicking and desperate hunting for the new scapegoat. There are again flip-flopping visualize the revolution and give a different answer during press-conf.Historically, after Anwar Saddat signed the Camp David, we had seen the people in Palestine suffocated and that's must be the most reason why he'd been shooted. The land of Palestine seems getting smaller day by day after the Camp David agreement. True enough, there are large muddy bank in the west bank. No matter what the bad things happened in Middle East nowadays, we all already knew that there must be a puppet master behind the story.
The BBC and Jazeera had reported two million of people demostrated , the blood and firefighters ,blades and they all up the irons fighting for the truth to break the domino's wall. You see..if Egyptian able to break it, than Saud kingdom must have something to worry about. Tahrir Square has been filled with people from all walks of life, all ages, religions and from both sexes. And indeed women have played a tremendous part in this revolution. The authoritarian in Tunisia had been punished, Hariri assisinated and now who else and what's next. Just about to say long live to Ikhwanul Muslimin and all the youth of today in Middle East. They sicked of it all...all the leaders , the puppets ..May the force be with you guys...power to the people..
(Wafi - the center with white tudung)

Meanwhile, at the corner of our side, my family still waiting for Wafi to reach home. She went to Cairo last October to pursue her studies in Al Azhar while I was suffering with my viral fever. According to the latest Awani news, they had transitted to Madinatul Hujjaj at Jedda before sending to Malaysia. Wafi, may Allah bless you.We love you.
