A Doctor of My Praise

Bored with the old men behaving like kids, attending doctor’s appointment now is a way escaped from office buzzing. On the appointment yesterday I just throw Dr Chan a question why insurance never accepted a policy by someone who being declared as hypothyroid since born. He just said that is their policy and he did explain to me how the insurance company running their business to survive. Then he suggested me to contact Great Eastern as the company have a separate policy between health insurance and education investment so that the second policy only suit to Shahnaz as she was being registered as a patient who have a serious illness since birth.
Shahnaz seems signified positive. Now she can walk, a lil bit speak-up, “clean-up” the house and scream for milk. From the moment we captured her hypothyroid until now, there are a lot improvement especially her face and reaction. Alhamdulillah... Result blood test taken on 16 Mac , reading for Shahnaz's thyroid and pituary hormone is within a normal range. Though the reading it reached to a normal range. She is still on thyroxine to stabilise her thyroid hormone.
In this case I must convey my gratitude to Dr Fuziah who helps us a lot. She is more like a mother and her explanation healed me even the Shahnaz situation is not really well at that time. I always hope to see her during the appointment . Some doctors may good but their explanation towards the illness mostly they describe generally with the technical words which definitely we don't understand, but this Dr. Fuziah , is different. She explained specifically , give some samples , leave let, telling us the past precedent case and her prediction towards the normal cases happened and the most important thing I can see her motherly part and empathy. Her explanation may calm our worried for quite sometimes. I am also lucky by having a good wife who never gives up in feeding her thyroxin every early morning, attending the occupational and every physiotherapy class without failed.

Shahnaz’s health now is improving positively.

Respond from Dr. Fuziah via mail.

Encik Saifuddin, Thank you very much for the kind words of praise that you have for me/us. It's our duty and "kewajipan" as doctors to help our patients get well to the best of our ability and with our prayers, the rest is up to Allah yang Maha Esa. The fact that I took photos of your daughter (besides her being so cute !) are for the purpose of education of doctors in my lectures at conferences and meetings. Since screening for hypothyroidism is not 100% yet in Malaysia, doctors need to know that there are still cases that are detected after 2 weeks of life. Let's hope for the best for your daughter ! We will see you again. Wassalam. Dr. Fuziah

Of Sociology & Taboo

I am too innocent in grasping the urbanites taboo and that is may be because of my bonding as a kampong boy. Living in urban area and with the new address of Pusat Bandar Putra Permai may sounds metropolis but does it mean change of lifestyle and belief?. Not at all. Born as muslim, where my father was previously a religious teacher have taught me to solat jamaah at surau and that is something must that being cultivated in my family. As a new members of this qariah , I introduced my self to the imam and sadly happened was a voice at the back just cynically whispered what was I did , as it is something so damn silly and shouldn’t be practice.” Itu pun nak kena bagi tau ke” Duh..if those people in surau behaving like this, I am sure they are not getting more people in surau , but going disowned it. They should be more welcoming so that people get into closer to surau and religion.. Entahlah. Is that my perception is wrong or I am too naïve with the urban sociology.

Youth of Today Annoyance

Politic is politic and enough discussing about the under pants down . A senior reporter who own a publishing company had said what is written in the daily newspaper is a reflection of the mindset of the public. So disgusting and I could accept it.

Are we really adore with that kind of articles. It just likes no other story that you want to publish apart from the story in between the crotch. What fools we are when the under pants story is printed as headline.

Aku malu jadi orang muda . At my age I should become a productive person and reading those garbage is such a waste of time. I'm also ashamed, when sex had been spoken publicly by old men . Brainless.

Snippet Part 1,2 and 3

Part 1
Since moved to the new house, my new addictive habits are visiting IKEA and attending home and lifestyle fair. Not something that cool stuff but another waste of money. I visited IKEA five times last month and 4 times last two month and paid about RM 2321 of the total amount. That is excluding the Daim’s cake, meatballs, petrol, and toll and parking fee. Satu kegilaan yang bakal memusnahkan hidupku. I have to stop from this madness. But it might be much…. much better rather than reading the sex video news nowadays. Puke..uwekks..

Part 2
I don’t have to sit in front because I am the sub woofer. So I am going back earlier because my responsibility at home is much bigger. I keep silent because I am not the dream trader .I pushed it aside because that is not my problem. I pay it back on Friday..Ciss.

Part 3
Someone have said to me yesterday.." give them 80 subjects to them, they definitely scored A for each one, give them 80 ringgit to solve house hold stuff, they'll get you nothing." Kids nowadays...pandai - pandai... belaka ..tapi tak bijak. Balik kampung naik bas pun tak reti. Anak Gaddafi dah mati , Elizabeth Taylor pun dah mati rupanya.

Merong Mahasuasa

I am sure most Malaysian have been waiting for tales and a so called epic movie from this 1- Land which on par with Hollywood outcomes. The name and the promotion of Merong Mahawangsa have made me take a doorstep to KLCC on the first day show.
The story is based so-loosely on the 16th century historical document entitled ‘The Malay Annals’, ’The Chronicles of Merong Mahawangsa’ is an action-packed epic feature film, with mythical characters, magical moments and dazzling visual-effects sequences. Sadly the bad colors rendering on cinematography spoilt this movie. The credit on camera just focusing on the many ships, the sets, and costumes. . Merong Mahawangsa was supposedly a descendant of Alexander the Great, a renowned naval captain and traveler who came to Asia several hundred years ago but this movie failed to explain who he is except from the voice of narrator. The English conversation between by the Marcus (Roman prince), Merong and the Chinese prince is a common English language and it sounds modern. It can be sense from some of modern words using likes rationally, logically and stupid were being spoken while we knew it supposed to be classical English should be applied to make the movie more real. I don’t read the Hikayat but I believe this is shouldn’t be the direction of the movie.
The year is 120 AD… a time when the Roman Empire is at the height of its power, during the reign of Hadrian – one of the Five Good Emperors. Meanwhile in China, the Han Dynasty is firmly cemented as the ruling empire and is expanding into Central Asia… one hundred years before the period of the Three Kingdoms. While this movie failed to tell us about the dynasty and stuff and can you just imagine the Han Dynasty actually passed their English Triple One Nine? Most characters here really damn good in Modern English except Embok and Pak Kesum while Merong able to converse both languages.
As the Roman fleet did their repairs and traded in Goa, they asked Merong Mahawangsa to escort a Roman prince to Southeast Asia, to wed a beautiful Chinese princess from the Han Dynasty. But here the way they trade Merong is a litle bit cruel well if I was the Prince , it is better for me to make the first choice , paid the gold to Mano Maniam and the business dealt. The Chinese princess and the Roman prince are supposed to meet halfway and be married on neutral grounds and they met at Malaysia to get married.. haa haa. What a silly thing with the white tentages like a J- LO wedding ceremony..
Visual wise is most likely you watch 300 and Pirates of Caribbean but the storyline is so dull. None of characters is successfully strong and not even the hero of the movie.

The bad characters of the movie are Kamawas and Taji who representing Garuda kingdom which I don’t quite agree when Garuda is being picturized as an island and a government. I thought of in the real story it should be a mighty big bird with the superstitious thing. They decided to kidnap the Chinese princess and use her as ransom. En route to the Straits of Melaka, Merong Mahawangsa’s fleet was attacked by Geruda’s forces while stopping at a small island to replenish supplies.

Will Merong Mahawangsa be able to rescue the Princess and re-unite her with her betrothed in a marriage that is set to bring together two great civilizations from the East and West and ha ha..ha Merong is actually the members of Mensa Club who has a good IQ. He buys the idea of Archimedes and cleverly used the mirror to destroy the enemies. The scene looks so silly and cheap idea when the armies felt down from the ship after being attacked by the mirror.
We are lucky because before he died, Merong had a chance to have a sexual intercourse with Embok and that’s why we exist now.
It is such a weak movie like we eat a plate of rice without any additional dishes. Empty, raw and loose.
Karmically, watching a bad movie with Sabri, bad things happened. He left the parking ticket at the machine.

Malaysian Idol

Unlike every Friday, the last Friday Pray I performed at Masjid Negara was so exciting. I had a chance to shake hand with our most prolific leader Tun Mahathir which the same feeling I guess ,If I could meet Paul Mc Cartney . He did ask me what am I doing for a living, and then I told him that I work with government. He then advised me to do a business for a better life. I thought of this prolific leader only urge people to venture a business in public for the political millage purposes but now I can see the sincerity of his words. The Star online reported Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad’s autobiography is selling like hot cakes nationwide. I was about to go the MPH Mid Valley yesterday to celebrate the book’s launching and get my copy but the Rolling Plan Exercise is killing me to do so. I am one of those who failed to buy the book I guess as I was told the book now is out of stock. The books entitled Doctor in the House, sharing the same name with a British television comedy in the early 80’s. The series based on a set of books and a movie by Richard Gordon about the misadventures of a group of medical students. I don’t quite understand the rational of using the same title but I really keen into this book.
I predict that there must be another side of him which we never explore and maybe the humorous part of him and his interest. Of course when talk about Dr, Mahathir, everyone would listen to him and most attention will definitely go to him. The most iconic and controversial leader and according to Tom Plate who wrote the book entitled Operation Malaysia, the good thing referring Dr. Mahathir is he said what he thinks and the bad thing about him he said what he thinks .
I did collect some books related to him no matter how it’s bad. The revelation of 100 billion waisted as published on Maverick and some slanders toward him are may just the prerogative but I myself believe that he is worth exist as Malaysian leader rather than others. I believe that those people who never do mistakes meaning to say he did nothing for his life. If we compare the mistakes has been done compare to good things he serve for the country then we knew can measure how important this leader compare to others. Wheather he act as Machiavelli or not, at least he proved many things rather than just rhetoric.
Nuraina Samad's blog reported.... Some people may find remarks by the Tun potentially slanderous. Asked about it, he responded to the effect "so, sue me.".. hah haa.. some people just want him to be bankrupt.
Reading much and more about him is some interesting but it doesnt change anything and still i am not capable to review any of books related to him , but the best thing to quote about him is, he may covers half of the Malaysian chapter. I am sure this book is different from what is written by Tom Plate, Pak Habib, Barry Wine, Kadir Jasin, or Chamil Wariya and I certainly will not be equal to the set of writings in his blog. One thing for sure is as heavy as heavy as Malay Dilemma but still well defined of his own way longhand writing. I can’t wait. ..
