Flying Without Wings

Not all the corporate sectors work efficiently. I had to call 5 times at 1300 88 3000 to get my last year enrich miles, last night. I received none of my miles statement for the whole 2009. Malaysia Incorporated? Only after the sixth time ringing them, they finally emailed me the new password. Malaysian nowadays are facing serious problem with the government sectors. Peoples always planted in their mind that only the corporate body works good and excellent. They always blamed the government. To them the way government works, sucks. What is the different between queuing up at the JPJ and the Maybank. You still have to queue anyway. It is just the same thing, right? Why can’t they blame the bank? Last time I had to fight with a low cost carrier officer regarding the flight delayed almost half day. I think the public especially Patrick Teoh should shut their mouth up from noising and mumbling here and there and keep complaining other peoples without doing anything. What ever sector are we in, we are just human. Human makes mistake.
This article is composed with the little help of WiFi@ KLIA.

P/s I wonder how Patrick Teoh will react if he has to lias with people like Beck.

Cut my life into pieces, this is my last resort

This article no need an image because the focused personnel is too hideous, rotten and imbeciles.

I must be the most gender-hatred if my opinion parallel to conventional Muslim. I believe that the women cannot be a total leader. Maybe Zainah Anwar won't agree with me on that, so do the SIS as well. But I just want to gibe a clear picture, a good example of power abusing of the administration division happens in my office now. The conducive environment of the workplace is being killed by one iron lady – our new PU. I heard so many complains by the subordinates who really unsatisfied with the way she led the division. Some of them are really disappointed with their SKT marks which is too low as it is they are not working at all.

Now, every document or data must be sent to her first where else previous practice was given directly to the clerks i.e. the TNT claim. There are a lot more examples that she tried to create another bureaucracy in our small office. One of the staff was alleged by creating a fraud claim without any prima facie. The punishment came before the investigation and it was stated on his SKT. I, myself had been instructed to quit from leading a committee for the ex- KP retirement occasion. Any of memos to book the meeting room must be signed by TKP before getting her endorsement. Gosh... This women’s ego must be higher than the God. The past history of Isabelle the Conqueror describes the fall of an empire. That is the situation when someone misleads the office. Niamah !!

Once Upon A Time In China

Beijing..Last time visit

I was invited to Beijing after being cursed by my former KP, Dato’ Mail. He scolded me at the VO meeting after he found out my job was partially incomplete. Gosh…but after the meeting he asked me to enter his room. Still panic with the cursing, I just stood and silent. Suddenly...he smiled and said “Pak Din, I want you to follow me to Beijing with the ILAM Committee”. I was so shocked but still don’t believe what was he said. I asked him whether he tried to make joke or what but he said it was a command. Oh my God sake I feel that I am a winner for the American Idol…Huh..Why he is like that. He makes me really wonder what kind of person he is... sometimes he can cursed at me but at the same time awarded me with something that make other people really pissed-off and envy ….But I guess I did something well and always try to achieve his needs . Most of the times, I try to follow his ultra-ego even though I realized that my ego also almost on par of a wrestling champion. Gosh,

April 8th 2008. Okay back to the journey-diary ….We were told to meet at KLIA at 11.pm Everybody is there …Danielle, Fadrillah, Sabaruddin,( our consultants) Dr.Osman, Dr. Suhardi Maulan ( UPM) Charles Teo, my boss En. Meor and a man from the other planet, Hashim Gombri (they said ...the second name is an acronym for “GOMBak- maRI and he is weird and freaky anyway)...They are all committees except me.

Flew with China Air doesn’t give us much problem except the small seat... I guess it is normal for an economic class for any airlines. I just wished to fly with MAS because I want to increase my enrich miles point. Okay then…we reached Beijing next morning.
We reached the Beijing Capital International Airport at 6.00 o’clock in the morning … It is the main international airport of Beijing, China. It is located in an enclave of Chaoyang District that is surrounded by rural Shunyi District. Damn big but think I have problem with the direction and to understand the signage. Right after touched down, we had to take a bus and the commute with a small train (like KLIA) before pass thru the immigration.

The first agenda is visiting a high-end cost apartment project at suburb Beijing. I found that it is kind hard to remember the place’s name in Beijing as the Chinese dialect is quite difficult. There are only two words that really synonyms to me were only l**cau and c**bai… So I don’t know the place’s name. Okay back to the apartment story... I found that the apartment was being over designed. There are so much component they want to put in.. But to my opinion, less is more. We had a lunch at the meeting hall at the apartment. Everybody didn’t touch the chicken and meat at all. I saw my my KP just smile from far (he is sitting with the VIP there, so his situation slightly different), may be he bantai jugak kot…nak jaga hati ..lantak lah bos..as for me…I doubt lah ..Sure ayam tembak punya tu.
Okay in the evening we just hang out at Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. I found that Chinese civilization is damn great and their previous kings were really autocrats and dictators. I can’t explain much on this matters because the photos itself will derive the facts and information.
We checked-in at the one of the hotel, Fortune Hotel.

April 10th 2008.
I was really excited that day. From the itinerary, we were being programmed to the Birds Nest Stadium which extremely publicized as the world's largest steel structure. Hmmm….No wonders our steel price had been increased, up to RM 4000 per tonne and all contracts were being enforced to impose the fluctuation in rates. It must be the high demand on steel in order to complete the stadium. From our tourist guide explanations, before Beijing had been awarded the right to host the 2008 Summer Olympics, the city held a bidding process to select the best arena design. Multiple requirements including the ability for post-Olympics use, a retractable roof, and low maintenance costs, were required of each design. The entry list was narrowed to thirteen final designs and the winner is the Bird’s nest stadium.

Our last visit on 11th April was in Russian Market. I wonder why they called it Russian but located in China…Is it the same case like Pasar Philippine in KK? Okay.. Why Russian? What the hell that Karl Marx and Bolsheviks doing in China? It is because of its previous location in the Russian quarter, this is basically a large indoor version of a Chinese street market. Devoid of its once characteristic selection of furs, it now has little that entitles it to this nickname other than a large Russian language sign outside. Inside are sections selling clothing and bric-a-brac, toys, and a large hall of edibles, including a good selection of fish and seafood. I had a very bad bargain experience here so that I advise for everybody who enter this market just be careful to get a reasonable price. You might be cheated or you are going to face a hard talk and even kena maki with the seller. Niamah kahai!!

During my trip there the virus of Olympic fever was currently widespread all over the China. There were so many Olympic corporate stall in town but knowing the China, the imitation industry is their bread and butter. So why must you spend around neck T shirt for 70 Yuan whereby you just can get it for about 10 Yuan if you are a good person in bargaining? Even in their own country they cannot control the imitation stuff. This happens at most of the malls at Shih Huang Tih.

Signage in Beijing…? Just don’t believe for any roman signage in Beijing because the grammatically error and wrong spelling are the BIG case and bloody pathetic. Most tourists keep complaining about this matter. Same goes to the taxi driver. Most taxi driver cannot speak English, dumb and maybe also deftones. There is one night, I and Hashim want to go to Hard Rock Café to get some souvenir. We even presented the taxi driver the HRC business card with the logo in order to make him understand and clear ...Guess what? , he sent us to one of the stupid cafes next to acupuncture service centre. The café’s name is British-Tibet Café. Most of Chinese they speak English pathetically and you will never understand what the hell they said.

Architecture in Beijing is pretty awesome. Most of buildings here designed by European and you can see a lot of modern structures. Even Robert Foster and Palate have their office here. The structures in Beijing had been rapidly developed since 80’s and now you can see Beijing is a real modern city. If you have a chance here just drop by at CCTV building…Amazing huh….canggih giler babeng beb

Religion and temple? You’ll be surprised .Malaysia got more temples than Beijing. I thought most of them are Buddhist but I was definitely wrong. Most of Chinese here are freethinker and they don’t believe in god existence. May be some of them still paganizer but the main reason is the republic were rules by communist and socialist for quite so long after they kicked The Last Emperor. I heard a rumor that Mao Tze Tung and Dr. Sun Yat Sen believed they are the God for Chinese. May the system just like Pyongyang or even cruel than that. But if you want to see tok imam giving khutbah in wearing jeans you can find it here. It happens to me once whenever we when to perform Friday pray at one of the mosque.

In Beijing you can see a lot of desk sleeper… (Hey what is that?) A lot of working class people sleep during lunch time on the desk because that is the only time they sleep. Most urbanites had to do two works in a day to support their life. That’s how they survived and that’s why they spend one hour lunch time by sleep. Quite struggle compare to Malaysian. I was informed that there are Chinese workers who are only being paid only a bowl of rice for the fair and that’s happen in the countryside and that’s make me feel good and think how lucky Malaysian is. Itu pun banyak complain lagi.

Quite enjoy in China but I think it just enough for one time visit. No need to come here again. The must visited place in Beijing are Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Great Wall of China (a bit out-skirt), Russian Market, Olympic Village and etc..lah .As for me China is just one of the great civilizations in the world and there are a lot more to see in this globe. Save some money, and have a sweet dream … travel the world and seven seas.

My international passport recorded that I was in China from April 8th until April 13th 2008.

Once Upon A Time in Europe

This diary-article was firstly written somewhere in Dam Square, Ledseplein, Amsterdam sometimes in July 2008 during The International Federation of Landscape Architect Conference where the author was represented the country. It took for about a half and a year for the author to publish it. Even now it is still not completed yet due to the author lazy-ness. The article was written tailored to the young backpackers. The last sentence in this topic was typed in February 14th 2010 somewhere at the Room No 236. Flemington Hotel, Taiping

Hello everybody. There are lots of things to share and some facts that I can guide you guys if u comes to this white province. I had a very wonderful time in Europe as though this is my very first time to these Caucasian countries. Let me start with my first date at the Schipol Airport and until now, right in front of Dam Square, Ledseplien( gua tulis ni masa tu lepas balik dari Luxemborg-----artikel ni dah berusia 1 tahun lebeh , dan tak siap2 tp gua publish jugak).
Day 1: June 28th. 08 – (KLIA, Golden Lounge & on flight)
I had my dinner with my family (Zareene, Yasmine and my mum in law at KLIA Concorde- that is the cheapest buffet in town) and they sent me to the airport . I met Sabaruddin at one of the coffee house and Puan Hajjah Rotina at Golden Lounge .Enjoying the Golden Lounge ambience, with a cup of classic espresso and some Swiss Cookies, I started doing my last checking of the paper presentation. Manifique. Macam orang kaya rasanya .

I start travelled to Schipol at 11.55pm from KLIA with a business class ticket.(chewahh). A lot of difference as u can differentiate it from the type of seat provided and the excellence hospitality like the multimedia tools, food and the material of blanket. For those who never experience the business class; I suggest you just to try once if you have a chance. Marvelous and it is an amazing experience. You can sleep calm and soothingly while enjoying the series of Everybody Loves Raymond. An MP3 touch screen player is provided on your right side and it will entertain you from classics tune of Lucianno Pavarotti to the brand new garage rock band. Easy-listening and strictly radio-friendly.
Day 2: June 29th 08- (Schipol, Amsterdam, Apeldoon)
I reached Schipol at 6.00 am. The moment I reached there, the place just telling me that Holland is the meeting point of the youngsters all over the world. One of the phrases that I read from one unknown T Shirt’s “Good boy goes to Heaven, bad boy goes to Amsterdam”. I, Hjh Rotina and Sabaruddin tried to catch a train to Apeldoorn where the conference will be held. It was quite hard for me to get the right locomotive because it was the first time I‘ve been the Deutschland. With a little help of one local people, we finally found No 302eu train to the Apeldoon provided we have to change the train at the Amerfoot. From my observation, I can see the train in Amsterdam is not much different in Malaysia. It is just like our commuter in Rawang which we can see from the colour scheme and the quality as well .Yeah ... along the way of course , the windmill lying on the plantation looks cool but from observation it is just like paddy field in Kedah.
Amazing...? Huh. Nothing much impressed me if everything is just like my kampung. We reached at Apeldoon 2.00 pm and straight away went to the Municipal Council where the World Congress meeting was held. Boring with long waits, I and Hjh Rotina decided to go to the bungalow provided. Anyway the meeting is not compulsory for me and Hajah because we are not representing the professional body.
We took bus and I felt that the accommodation is damn far-far away.I wished that the driver not send us to the never-neverland.Omeegawd!!!....the bungalow is in the jungle and it is damn far away from the real world. , The wood area and it‘s about 10 km from Apeldoorn. By the time we reached there, I just lie down on the sofa. The room was quite big but I faced the other problem. No towel, no soap, no food and no everything. I had to wipe my body after shower with a blanket. What a stupid accommodation in world class conference?I started to complain about the event, the venue and the poyo of IFLA.Gossh....!!
Day 3: June 30th 08 ( Apeldoon)The conference day.
Hajjah was presenting my paper at 11 am with one hour late.. Hmm... I snapped some photos of her and had my "little" lunch (bread - what do you expect for a typical Malay like me). There was a Q and A after the session. I choosed not to ask anything because I knew that IFLA is just like a social party from the past ,present and future ..and also the meeting venue for every landscape architect all over the world forever and ever. This day, I and Sabaruddin agreed to quit the conference and decided to tour the Europe .Fortunately, Hajjah agreed not to follow us. The reason given is momentum and big possibility assumption is ..she just wanna gimme a chance lah kot .On the next morning, I made my own history.
Day 4: July 1st 08 (Amsterdam Central, Overtoom, The Red Light District)
From Apeldoon, we took a train to Amsterdam Central / Centrum. We managed to get a tourist information kiosk and book a budget hotel at Overtoom. Hotel Crystal at Overtoom at the rates of 40 Euro per person (yeah RM 200) - shared bathroom, hilly steps and bad hospitality) I guess I can get a good treatment if I checked in Mutiara hotel JB with the rate like this. It was like a haunted hotel in a hollow town like Aloq Staq. To get the bloody hotel we had to walked and crawled after lost the location. Amsterdam really taught me how to exercise anyway.
The real Holland is in the Amsterdam city and their official transport is bicycle. Everybody in Amsterdam is using bicycle travel around the town. It is normal for an executive to travel to the office by bike. One thing that really attracted me was when I saw a bloody cute girl just cycling to a shopping mall. From my observation it will not be happened in my country and even the super babe model like Maya Karin definitely will refuse to take a Kancil. Now I just realized that most KLians are not ‘real’. Just cycling. It shows how they preserved their own identity and culture without rejecting the transformation of technology. Amsterdam is good urban preservation example .They really revitalized the culture, heritage, architecture and their national identity. After knap, we walked to get a lunch get a small Indonesian kiosk and we get Nasi Padang. It cost us 15 Euro per person (time 5 please).. “Penny Wise Pound Foolish”. I was told that most Dutch man eat Nasi Padang .They said Dutch lived Indonesia for more than 400 hundred years and most of them not just married but practice the archipelago culture.
After we had our lunch, we went to Amsterdam Central and then walk to The Red Light District. It is a place where prostitution and marijuana are commercially legalized and well traded. They are freely grass weeding and nobody will interfere you as doing something bad. European quotes that Amsterdam is just a heaven to men and a party station twenty four seven. The hookers with bikini are well displayed in the sex diorama. You can bargain them or the agent to get affordable price. And of course you cannot get a tight hole at a cheap price. Frankly speaking, I didn’t commit with any sex trading except I watch one of the sex theater that cost me at 20 Euro. It just that a stupid boy and beauty girl ‘really’play right in front of you. I believe it is normal perception for a man watch that obscene theatre because I saw many Malaysian men went to Pat Pong during my tour to Bangkok last time. It is an acceptable taboo that yes to men do that but not the women. In Amsterdam, men or women, good or bad , better or worse you are entitled to enter The Red Light
After the sex theatre we went to Madam Tussaud, a wax museum. I can see the real figure of John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Saddam Hussein and other huge name in the rest of the world made by latex, wax and other composite material. Sadly, you cannot bring up your camera because they do sell the lenses services at the cost of 30 euro one photo. I can’t afford to pay that at the moment.
Night scene in Amsterdam starts at 11.00 pm so only the dark night you will see at that particular time. We had a coffee at the Hard Rock Café while having a nice view of riverbank. The specialties of hard rock here is the rare guitar collection of Paul Mc Cartney and Jimi Hendrix. You cannot find in any other Hard Rock all over the world. ___________________________
Day5: July 2nd 08 (Overtoom, Amterdam, Brussels, Paris Gare du Nord)
I started the morning at Overtoom by having a short breakfast. I and Sabaruddin decided to go to Paris. After Overtoom breakfast, we took tram to Central again try to get Eurostar but then we were told that the train is quite expensive then we changed to take Thalys. At 11 o’clock we took train to Paris (Gare du Nord) and it cost me 75 Euro. There are some of the station that really impress me especially The Hague (the International Court of Justice is here) and others like Anterwerp and Zuid Midi. 12 pm we reached Brussells, Belgium. We decided to take a transition and walked around the city. Brussels architecture is really haunted me as you can see the pre Victorian and pre War style art deco. A lot of human sculpture if that you can view from the Zeus statue to public art of Neuron. (I am not good enough to identify building facade genre).
After two hours in Belgium we get another train to get the romantic Paris. At 3.00 pm we reached Gare du Nord, a central railway station in Paris exactly looks alike Hogwart in Harry Porter movie.
Paris – a fashion power house station . As I can see ,everybody here catwalks and spends lotsa money for their costume.
I finally get this city. It reminds me to my previous girlfriend who dump me to get a French guy. After had my tea-time at Lafayette, we get the cheapest hotel in town Hotel de Lille, Rue de Lafayette. Here, you must speak Malay first to ask, and then they will ask you in English otherwise, if you start the conversation in English they won’t bother you make a weird face. Just speak French if you excel in that language. Night activity was gambling.

Day6: July 3rd 08 (Paris)
After winning 500 euro in casino last night, I travelled with hop on bus. The price is quite cheap for a fortune-gambler. A must visited place like Eiffel Tower, Musee de Louve, Arch de Triumph and Moulin Rouge. Yer right spend money for small key chains and T Shirts are no more something that really burdened me now. As I passed through one of the road at the Arch de Triumph, I can see a lot of designers shop like BCBG, Louis Vuiton, Armani, CK and etc and guess what?, they didn’t sell it to Chinese. I was told from one of the local French Jew that designers and fashion is the backbone of the country’s industry so that they are really against the duplication of their main industry course. I saw one of the signage stated “Chinois non entrée pas ‘” – something like that lah kot , and sounds really racial prejudice and racist. (My French foundation is physically bad and I find this language is damn pathetic)
Here in Paris, I can say that no Japanese car lah.... What you can see is only Peugeot and Citroen. And neither British car nor other Euro cars like Aston Martin and even Maserati.

One good thing that really attracted, is everyone here catwalks like a model no matter what fsize of they are whether they have a papaya sexy shape or Michelin tyre-shaped. Costumes? Each of the roads in Paris is fashion battleground. You can see makcik2 wearing big designer’s sunglasses and flowers chiffon /lace pashmina on their neck. Just watch over their fingers, you will see decorated with really big-big stone in many form and colours. I just smile on it. If it happens in Malaysia maybe the numbers of polygamy will be decreased successfully. A good scenario for women happens in France that Shahrizat Jalil should take action on it. A lesson for Malaysian women and wives: just be stylish to save your marriage..
Now …February 14th 2010 @ Flemington Hotel, Taiping
Ok that's it ..Sampai sini ja larat gua tulis..By the way, my international passport recorded that I was backed in Malaysia at July 11th 2008 and through my medical record, I was loosed on wieght about 7 kilos right after the Europe tour. Now...huhuhu ....takpayah cakapla ...ok I've got meeting @ Bkt Jana..I have to sleep now ...ZZZzzzz

The truth is.....

Most Malaysian likes to put on some < Ajinomoto whether in their foods or in their stories .This is the sugar and spice of our culture. But when something big had been exploded like the case of jet’s engine, everybody seems to like point finger each other. The mainstream paper, had been reported that the engines value most probably RM 50 million and bla…bla… Then the public start hypothesized of the Big Gun involvement. The top people reportedly said only short gun involved in this case. Now, it is being widespread speculated because of the high value of the engines and due to the poor national security system. I contacted my friend which is one of the “big guns" there to get the information. So this is our conversation via sms.
Me : XXXXX , Betoi ka x ada boss besaq terlibat dlm kes enjin jet tu ?
My friend : Tak dak la , direct deal ja …depa ja..
Me : Depa deal ngan sapa ha…
My friend : Sjn tu ngan comp tu la…dia dpt pun tak sampai RM 100k..yg aku tau la..
Me : Eleh ckitnye .Yg ckp juta2 dlm paper tu xbetoi la?
My friend :Rega dia sebiji Rm 50j…
Me : Ooh tu macam ka.thnx for giving me the truth.nasib baik hang tak terlibat.kalao
x mesti dah kaya..huhuhuh
My friend : Gilo hang ni. "
P/s I wonder how rich is the 'taukeh ajinomoto' compare to the engine's stealer ?

1st Lesson

1. I just finished a report. A fight between a contractor and a supplier. Most industry player makes their own gentlemen's agreement when they deal their business. But when the deal broken, they start to point finger each other. It might be one party implicates the client into their situation or vice versa. They trapped the client into their business deal. Then where's the gentlemen’s agreement after the lost-lost game?

2. It is always a problem when we become a client to our ex- teacher/lecturer.

3. It s hard to talk to a person who is extremely the 'Mr Knows- Everything'

ASB

Let starts the 2010 with something cliché. What is your wish, what do you intent to do, what should you get and etc. Now let’s talk about the ASB. A unit trust for Bumiputera.

The account of 2009 had been exclusively closed and the final figure indicates that ASB just give us 7.30% dividend + 1.25% bonus…i.e. equals to 8.55%. Is that enough for a working class investor like me? One of my colleagues who migrated to New Zealand last two years tweeted me (via Tweeter) that NZ unit trust is easily give 20% to their investors. So are we still wanted to continue investing in the mainstream unit trust? (obviously less risk compare to the other commercial unit trust).

There is one proposal from unknown, suggests all ASB investors should convert their accounts into certificates. The formula introduced to mortgage the certificates to get overdraft loan. After that, reinvest to ASB back. This formula will expedite to maximize the account. (Hopefully…and with consistent saving la.)
I am not really satisfied with the profit but I am not a high risk taker as well. As a result, I shifted-out most portion of the liquid into Felda shares which I believed they give profit much better than the ASB. Especially in this season (I heard that the current PM is closed to Felda, so that the share is being well speculated, I guess).

Now I am reading a book on investment and saving guideline for a young executive, not finished yet but I hope I’ll be one of the beneficiaries from the book .
