Subsidy Swindle- Bumiputera Rockers

The cover story of Malaysian Business February Released is really interesting. The wealth club listed top 40 billionaires in Malaysia include the newcomer, the CIMB Group Chief Executive, the younger brother of Prime Minister. According to the report he is the only makan gaji person who is not the founder of any company or second generation entrepreneur. (but he is a great dealmaker).I am not interested to review about him or the wealth club issue, but the comment by Charles Raj about the fuel subsidy, make my brain cells digested and runned a bit fast.

The wind of subsidy reschedule is blown throughout the nationwide now. A rumor had said a fuel price will increase up RM4 per liter. The subsidy system also will be revamped after May, said the rumor. The method and the mechanism of the subsidy scheme have yet to be announced, but the rumors from some Big Guns in Petronas have said it will involve the MyKad identification of petrol purchasing. Ha ha ha..would that be any loopholes there?

Knowing Malaysian …Malaysia Boleh!!!

Case #1:-
I still remember a decade ago, a withdrawal scheme of EPF contributors to purchase computers was abused. Apparently, many contributors were in cohorts with computers vendors to provide false invoices to the EPF to withdraw the money.

Case #2:- I was in contract department last two years and my official job is to evaluate the tender. Obviously the government tender is 30% stake for Bumiputera and what happen to the succeeded bidder? Sold it off and makan atas angin.Another scenario is license for hire. The state of Johore is practically well known as the License for Hired Power House.

Case #3:- A few years ago during Pak Lah tenure, when fishermen were given diesel subsidies, they sold subsidy coupon for a profit. They later decided not to go to the sea after getting the profit.
Many more case lah...

I just don’t what to say but talking about Malaysian, they are really excelled at exploiting the subsidy. I quoted here what Dr. M had said “if they want to be rich, they will find the easiest way .If they can sell the country, they will but if they cannot they will sell sand.

Slumdog

Someone from India emailed me this Ad. It is so touched made me feel thankful to God. So I re-published it here. “Many children get into their father’s shoes very early. Help them into school shoes instead. Donate generously.

God Save The Queen

KL22 Feb. - Kongres Kesatuan Pekerja-Pekerja dalam Perkhidmatan Awam (Cuepacs) hari ini meluahkan kebimbangan berikutan penguasaan penjawat wanita dalam sektor awam yang semakin meningkat sekarang.
Today’s headline not really shocking me. Peoples always keep complaining about ‘the lady boss ‘attitude embarrassingly and some women admit that. There are a lot more reasons that Ahmad Shah (Cuepacs Sec- Gen) can GIVE besides the emotional factor. But the most reason that should be highlighted is the men supposed to lead and be a decision maker because, the God say so. There are so many destruction on earth showing that the failure of women’s mislead. Benazir Bhuto, Sheikh Hasina, Indira Gandhi, Corazon Aquino, Megawati Sukarnoputri and a lot more examples of the earth destroyer. One of them is currently in my office now who leads the Tingkat 7.

There is nothing new the fact that women are now the majority in the public sector but the problems comes after they’d being promoted up to the number one in an organization. Just forget about their maternity leaves, their house responsibilities and their motherly-looked. The emotional factor of women ruins everything. I believe the statement from Ahmad Shah is new bomb shell to all women’s organization. This is not about the gender-bias factor or the men’s ego .Whatever reaction and whatever circumstances, the God had said
"the Men rulez".
P/s this doesn’t mean I don’t love my mother and my wife. This article published is strictly just an opinion.

Valentine -The Saint Anger (Part II)

I planned earlier, a vacation with my wife after I knew my enrich miles is sufficient enough to be redeemed for Asia traveling. That is for her brithday present cums Valentine's present lah kot... And that’s what the KLIA MAS ticket counter told me after I referred them my number. I reconfirmed again via enrich log on and stated my enrich miles is 27115. Flying from KL to Bangkok you only need 25000 miles two enfrows and that’s what I understand and being told. Unfortunately, after purchasing for a low cost carrier ticket to Bangkok to my wife, I again to MAS ticket counter to redeem my MAS flight ticket to Bangkok and then….

I was told that I am qualified to get the free return ticket to Bangkok using my enrich miles BUT I have to pay another extra RM375. What the f**k?I asked why ?The tudung receptionist girl then said,” ye lah ..tiket encik mmg free, tapi tak termasuk airport tax dan fuel surcharge?” Kepala hotak betoi. I said, since when MAS becomes Air Asia, to charge here and there? I thought if the 25000 miles is sufficient enough to go to Bangkok so I don’t have to pay anything. .. I said to myself, why must I pay another extra of RM375 inclusive of 25000 points deduction where else I can get only RM308 a return ticket with Air Asia?
...Goshhh…this must be crazy. What a stupid comparison from two local airlines. One claims that the nation hospitality, exclusive and offering a fake promise from the loyalty card with the capitalist marketing while the other one claims the best low cost carrier, the best deal price but with extra hidden cost. If I ‘m not mistaken, I still remember last three years, I had purchased a ticket to Penang by redeemed the points at no extra cost. Same goes to my boss, when he went to Bali last time. I wonder since when MAS is changing their rules, imposing fuel surcharge and other charges?
I thought only low cost carrier practice it as their marketing plan? Again with anger, I purchased another Air Asia ticket for me to Bangkok at RM 308. At least this company quite sincere by not offering any card with fake promises….Duhhh….A good lesson for all domestic and Asean travelers who owned the enrich card, just throw it away .It’s value is nothing more than the toilet paper.

Valentine-The Saint of Love (Part I)

February is always be an important month for me. Besides celebrating the Valentines and enjoying a day leave on Federal Territory day, February is also my wife birth month. Being a husband, I never forget her birthday, the Feb 15th every year. I rarely giving her a present or flowers, but I never forget to wish her, on the day it self.
As a mother of my two princesses, she always keeps busing with the home made business. From preparing a weekend breakfast, feed the milk, clean up all the messes we made ,wash our clothes , she always keep all the things as her responsible and that’s make us took for granted most of the times.

Last week, I sent an email to her with something like this, “You only will get your birthday present on my birthday”. It sounds silly for a birthday present. Isn’t it? And guess what…? I bought a flight ticket to Bangkok which the departure day will be on my birthday at April 30t h. It cost me only RM 308 and that is still okay for me as I believe she deserved it...Mmmuah to u..Darling

The Culprit

Culprit-JAB( u know who u are)

Today I had to make a report of an allegation towards my department whether to proceed with an action that might prove to be lethal should I prove who the culprit is.
Slander.
The first time I heard this word was when I was in primary school. Being a Scrabble geek, I was quick to look up its meaning. So I knew the meaning, but I could not understand it.Understand - not literally, but 'comprehending' the reason why people would want to write/say unkind untruths about another for the mere reason of harming their reputation. There are idiots out there who have nothing else better to do but make up stories. As years pass by, slander came in many forms. From wild allegation and mean backstabbing to downright ridiculous statements to harmful and painful accusations. Even though malicious talk was really part of my cup of tea, so I always chose to starts the bad vibe conversations with facts.

And on a hindsight, I recall not being very popular when they roped me in for "goss talk". Being a natural rebel, I always was deemed 'defending' the unknown or the underdog - giving "what if" or "perhaps she/he had..." rebuttals along the way, yes, even if I knew jack shit about the whole story.I always truly believe that there is always two sides of the story. Sometimes three. And life is never black or white, but as mentioned in a previous post, beautiful hues of grey. But don't get me wrong. I am sure I have been a meanie in the eyes of another. So today, on this note, I would like to condemn that person who writes/spreads untruths via one of government agency. To good vibes, positive thinking and love & respect all around
