St. Valentine Part II - Amsterdam

19th Feb. 2012. Gare Du Nord > Amsterdam Central
We had to move out from Vintage and sometime 3.30 we departed from Gare du Nord straight away to Amsterdam Central. We reached Amsterdam central at 7.30 pm and it was rain heavily. We had to catch get the tram to get Cosmos Hostel which just five minutes walk to Centrum. But because we try to avoid from rain and a lot of weird face at the Centrum then we decided get the tram is much better.
Reaching Cosmos with 9 shared bedrooms with strong smell of cannabis is something disappointed. But to cut cost and enjoy the journey we forget that part and try to survive for another three freaking days as we knew that Cosmos offers the cheapest in town. Again we met another dropped out Spanish guys in our room with their weed. Amsterdam is nothing new to and those experiences I already wrote in the previous .It just some new knowledge that a Morrocan jut told me that the Jew in Europe were started in Amsterdam. There are a lot of Jews there and a big museum for just for them and it is one of the tourist attraction stated in Holland’s calendar.

20th Feb. 2012. Amsterdam
Travelling with sightseeing hop on hop off bus in Amsterdam is such a waste of money because the only area that you need to discover is from Damrak to Ledseplein. We just shop around and the 5 euro shop at the corner of dam square is highly recommended because it cheap and offers the good quality of souvenir.

21st Feb. 2012. Volendam > Dapperstraat
Volendam for the second and it remain the same but I always remember the town as the most peaceful place in the world. Unfortunely, we failed to eat haring fish. According to Zareene’s friend, Annie who moved for good in Amsterdam, haring fish is the best food in Holland. It still in winter time and Volendam River is still cold so that all the boats had bee transferred to the marine park. I never bored with Volendam and the place I always remember. After Volendam we went to Dapperstrat , a Muslim town in Holland . A big flea market but they are selling a lot of china product from the boots to herbs. A good experience we laughed to the max when Zareene failed to take out the boot
22nd Feb. 2012. Amsterdam>Brussels Midi > King X St. Pancras
We woke up early that morning and we had to get train as early as 9.15am. But this time is the first class ticket so who said backpackers can’t afford the first class? Along the way to Belgium, the scenic is nice but the best part in the Thalys is having their good breakfast. Sometime I feel like Johnny Depp in Tourist. We reached Brussels Midi at 11.00 am and the most station I really hate. It is so busy and the people are so arrogant. Again to carry 9 kilos bag at the station we were at that time was some kind of out of the world. The people we asked all are rubbish and they can’t speak English well like most people in my office.
So that I decide to get a map then we travelled with tram to Beurs station to get the Grand Market. Dropped for a while and Zareene’s face looked so tired. I decided just to have lunch at Sultan of Kebab which just 5 mines walk to Grand Market. At 2.30 pm we get another train to King cross St Pancras and leaving Belgium with all of hatred. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>to be continued
