HARD TALK :The Alcatraz of Malaysia

INTRO
Azril: My question is simple... How much money will our esteemed Ministers and politicians make from destroying a century old Heritage site?

What is 5 billion in comparison to a hundred year of history? Some companies can make 5 billion in a year. It took a hundred years for Pudu Jail to become an icon.

RESPOND:
• Ben Azuri Malik :
What heritage? What icon? Dude, it's not like it's the Alcatraz... And it's not something we should be proud of... It's just a place where we place our prisoners, that's all to it...

• Azril:
Isn't that what Alcatraz is in the first place? A place where Americans placed their prisoners?
It's not merely about a single building; it's the entire Malaysian mentality of destroying our history to make way for commercial centres.
Look at what happened to Bukit Bintang Girl's School. A school that produced many many luminaries and women leaders in our country was destroyed to make way for what?

• Ben Azuri Malik :
Alcatraz was famous as the escape proof penitentiary (well almost). Again, I'm asking, what is the significance of our Pudu Prison? Is it a place where our former Prime Minister declared our independence? Do enlighten me.
Agreeing to the demolition of prison doesn't mean I'm forgetting my history and roots Azril. It is up to us to continue on

• Mahen segran
Sure the Pudu Alumni will miss that place?!.. Where will they meet now??!!!!!..

• Saifuddin Ali
The Capitalist rulez... but i do agree with Ben, there's nothing to be proud of ....unless if the govt decided to remove Sultan Abdul Smad building , Railway Station. Pudu Jail is nothing to be appreciated. It just wire mesh plus conventional concrete wall with stupid painting. No architecture value at all..

• Azril:
Oyie, a building that has been standing for nigh 100 years already has historical significance.
A building that was one of the first institutions for incarceration in this country has historical significance as well. Even South Africa preserved an incarceration island facility that housed many of its resistance off the Coast of Cape Town. That's South Africa and here we are, going around and happily tearing our memories and our heritage apart....
As for remembering our history, bro... Hearing about something and seeing it with your own two eyes are two extremely different experience.

If I just "heard stories" about the Tower of London instead of being able to walk through its dungeons and such, seeing the torture implementations, I would not be able to appreciate its significance as much.
As for Ministers making money off other projects, that's still fucked up because in the end it's still the rakyat's money.

You know my family, we're BN people through and through but dear Lord, at least there should be some limit to how low they wanna stoop.

• Azril:
Bng Chak, as for Capitalist rulez, the funny part about that, most of the developed capitalist countries are extremely keen about preserving their old buildings. Lets look at Italy for instance and how keen they are on preserving Venice even though that man made island is sinking and its costing them a bomb. As for its comparison to Alcatraz because its nigh inescapable, Pudu is still one of the first prisons our nation has seen.

• Saifuddin Ali

Yaa...but if we still preserve the jail, it won’t be a tourist hotspot. We cannot compare Pudu Jail with Arc de Trumph. Both are heritage structures but do you think tourist from Paris would come here just to see Pudu Jail...no right? Same case with Perigi Hang Tuah. Outsider tourist won’t visit there except Rombongan Cik Kiah n Tadika Kemas. Heritage is not only about the time frame.

OUTRO:
Heritage is not only about the time frame
. We must take into account the art, architecture and the value factor in order to conserv our heritage structures. Yes, capitalist sucks but in this case , Pudu Jail is nothing much to be appreciated. LET the alumni meet in the mosque and starts praying.

Airport Tax

I am sure a lot of Malaysian having experience with the only low cost carrier, Air Asia. Have you realized that, whenever you purchased the ticket via online (obviously) the airport tax fare also appeared on your ticket, meaning to say you have paid for the airport tax? Now the question is what if you canceled the flight? Have they returned back the money? Where have all the airport tax gone? What we paid supposed to be the flight fair but since we canceled the flight, we didn’t use the air port? Why must we pay for the tax since we don’t use the airport?
I think most of people can accept if they don't get back their flight fair since they cancel the flight but not the tax.
Is a cinema going to charge us the 5% entertainment tax if we don’t go watch for a movie? Since we canceled the flight, why don’t they give us back the money? If we can communicate with them via net (ticket purchasing via online), why can’t they do the same thing?

The Legend Has Proven

The new formula had been found in Jo'Berg. Most of the scientist agreed that mathematics sentence should be like this
(Cocaine + Maradonna = Messi + Argentina)

Argentina vs South Korea was a good game, where Argentina has largely defeated South Korea 4-1 in the second round of group B of the World Cup 2010, Deep down inside I damn so satisfied with game.

Big thanks to Usop who treated my dinner .I continued the next game with my former boss , En. Meor @ Riangriang. According to the owner of the Chef Bakery, Usop has gone home.

Thanks to a tripling of Higuain, and is now well positioned to achieve the eighth-finals.With the win, the men of Diego Maradona, who beat Nigeria 1-0 in the first game, has six points. A tie between Greece and Nigeria, who clash in Bloemfontein at 1400 GMT, guaranteeing to the Argentines to be the first qualified for the eighth finals. Argentina vs South Korea was the game that confirmed the Argentina power on World Cup 2010.

The House & Spin Dr.

The House
Do we need a new parliament where the current one is still good? When you talk something about taking out the big amount from the taxpayer, I am sure a lot of complaints will be appeared on the headlines. I don't understand that. In the 50-50 situation, they are still playing rally and give bola tanggung and expecting the other parties just look, smile and they don't smash you. Wake up..time is running ..now is the time to counterstrike and not to defend.Haiyya..

Spin Dr.
I was there at the lobby. What was reported in Malaysiakini http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/134852 is 75% true but there are still hidden things. Tukimin keep pressuring him and he was damn panic then slammed back. The intangible data here is most reporters who were at the lobby make weird face and they smiled cynically. I was there at that time and had a chance to look the real thing happened. The lesson I’ve got today is if you panic when the slander you made, doesn’t work out, raise your voice and smash the person who asked you back.
p/s Tukimin is better than you guyz

Confondre :- Sourd-Muet Paresseux

It’s been half a year I feel like a tedious lion. I was a loudness person, aggressive, energetic and full of adrenalin. That was before. Now I couldn’t concentrate on my job at all like an aimless compass bearing. I just don’t know where to start, who to blame and what should I do next. Is it a pay of maturity or just a symptom to be a dinosaur.

Sometimes I feel like I want to do what I’ve done before but the face of daughters just disallow to do so and I feel guilty .Unlike Shrek, who wants to runaway from the routine and made a stupid agreement with Rumplestitstin, I won't do such thing like that. I ‘d rather to be a father rather than be a stupid vagueness bachelor. God has created human and heir to save the creature.

I trapped in monotonous conspiracy created by the situation. Ma al lata'it. God boost me the spirit and give me the strength capsule.

Melayu Liberal-Melayu Tak Sedar Diri

seronok baca artikel ini. Ramai sgt melayu x sedar diri.
Roots bloody Roots..

http://anotherbrickinwall.blogspot.com/2010/06/melayu-liberal-si-tanggang-masyarakat.html

Snippet

I must admit that those text in this blog are my own ‘English’. I hope that the viewers wouldn’t treat it as good as rantingsbymm. Of course Marina and I are two different person who came from two different worlds. A comment from Elina left me flabbergasted. What the hell she wants. Elina, a yuppie girl had commented that my words here is crap and doesn't sounds urban English. I do agree with that but at least I tried.
My father was a rubber tapper and never speaks English for the whole entire life except using the word ....Okay. Same goes to my mother.
Elina was brought up in silver plate and never get her own money for a living and I am damn sure she never washed her own panties... Unlike her, I woke up every morning and I had to shower my daughter where else she is still single at the age of 30, free of commitments and her credit card is totally parental subsidized. Knowing that she is childish, I ignored her.

The reason I blog here is just to throw my ideas and another reason is to sharpen my English. I believe the viewers of my blog are mostly middle class and understand my simple English.

Credit to Alyaa… I like your latest post
p/s aku sebenaqnya menyampah dgn anak org kaya yg x reti survive dan belagak mcam pu**mak ni

You Give Love A Bad Name

This week I had been busy with the loan submission. As my lawyer informed that there is no more issue of consent to transfer as Marcella Aloysius had been confirmed declared as Bumiputra. She asked me to pursue with the loan. Now I understand how hard Sarawakian Bumputra’s to convince the authority the status of themselves especially in the issue of properties and land matters. In most cases, their names play big role of rejection. I was told by someone, it will be easier if they put their name in aborigine sounds like Kanang , Tanduk, Cipan and whatever names rather than western . When Christian’s name appears in their application, then it’s quite uneasy for them to convince their Bumi status. One friend of mine was having difficulties to register her son for ASB because the name sounds English and born somewhere in Liverpool. Its quite funny when some Malaysian so eager to put their kid's name in English but physically totally contradicted. In Malaysia, a name does take into account in any business deal. Give a good name to the love ones

Kg Baru Is Not Kg Gelam!!!!!

Look around your town. KLCC, Pavilion, One U, One Manusia ka. How many of those skyscrapers belong to Malay? They already own Bkt Bintang, Sentul Cheras and all CBD's. The only left for Malay is Kg. baru. Now they are talking to develop Kg Baru as another landmark for KL. For what purpose? Nak bagi nampak macam New York but the fact that Malay Land Reserve robbed by others? Sudah-sudahla..Yg memperbodohkan org Melayu ni…Org Melayu jugak. There’s nothing 60-40 to be discussed, it must be 100% owned by Malay...or else just give another 40 % of Petaling Street to Malay and another 40 % at Masjid India, Bkt Bintang and etclah .Then fair and square.Look at Kg Gelam in Singapore and Rochor. Who owned those piece of land?

Please don’t let the West Bank happens in my country .Sorry …lately a bit emotional ...Aku geram

The Saint Anger Part III

There are times that a problem can’t be solved through ethic and professional. There are situation that a problem should be solved emotionally in anger. One of the situations is the only way to fight with Israel is through war. Another situation is maybe to fight people who really stubborn and arrogant you need to confront him/her. Hetfield said “Fight fire with fire’. Manowar said Hail, Hail and Kill, Vince Neil said Crash and Burn…Die! Die! Die!

p/s I am not senile yet. Don’t read this blog if you don’t agree with this . Just drag your mouse to the start button, click turn off computer and put your mind into the ashtray. If you are uninvited, just get out of here.
