It is hard to make a decision when we don’t have the knowledge. Socrates once said ‘Men by nature desire knowledge”. Can we say that a person who far-far away from knowledge is considered inhuman? Too harsh to shoot.
Living in doubtful will make the life difficult. Without knowledge we cannot act like we understand the subject matter. People can read your mind if you do that. To make a wise decision we must have at least the basic, if don’t ,then dig the knowledge and get the right opinion from the right person.
Stupidity is the answer to the unwise decision.
Chapter 2.
I agreed that our Science and Mathematic subject should be implemented in English. We can differentiate the level of confidence and their knowledge for those people who really can speak and understand English.
When Oprah asked Madonna in a talk show on why Western song can simply penetrate the world market rather than Asian, she then answered “English is the weapon”.
In the millennium age, most technical book is written in English. The technical term is easier to handle in English. As an example, we say pebble wash rather than batu basuhan as in normal way. Until now, there’s no direct translation for the word endogamy and paediatric yet. I believe my English is still poor compare to Elena and her clan. I am working on it by writing this blog, speak English everyday with my daughter and also read English books.
I remembered what my father said when I was still in primary school “ susah nak nampak pandai kalau tak reti cakap oghang puteh” .
From the book Selected Letter, Disraeli said “with words we govern men, with English we rule everything. It is hard to be a good leader when you can’t even speak in English. People will remark you as – ass-tee-you-pee-eye-dee.
