Flesh N Blood in Political Playground

To understand the present political scenario is very weird and unpredictable. The racial prejudice is still something debatable and most likely every parties is fighting the portion of their cake besides fighting for the fair election.

I frequently spend my free time by reading blogs from famous people of the country. My blog list are mostly from politician or if not they are might be politic's reporters and or else they related to politic. To sum up about the current politic, what I can say is, nothing more about struggle and sacrifice but it is more about how to win the slice of the cake. Some people might don’t agree with this, as they considered me as unqualified person to talk about politics. But…whatever it is, I just want throw my idea what do I feel about father – kid’s leadership as I see there are weird things amongst political inherited stand. In this country and many countries, politician often produce politician which is means this career is inherited by generation. Some of the clear examples are like the current Prime Minister , Datuk Seri Najib who is the son of the second Prime Minister, Tun Razak , Anwar and Nurul Izzah, George Bush Sr. and Jr., Tun Mahathir and Mukhriz, Indira and Rajiv Ghandhi and many more, which their stand is still in the same foundation as like father like son, like father like daughter.

On the other hand I also captured there are few of them who produce the other opinion’s product. Meaning to say their kids are opposed them in their political manner. Does political stand separate family? No and yes depend on cases. If you run through the history, Dr. Mahathir seems more to like an ultra- Malay who fight everything for the Malays and his stand was made other races worried. From the moment he started the Malay Dilemma until he stepped down, he always talk about the Malay development and he really bother about the Malay growth but from “A Doctor in the House” he denied being a racist. By and large, most Malay is more comfortable during his tenure-ship and why? Because no matter how modern thinking Tun is, he still back to the roots or there are still conventional way in him. Mukhriz ? He is okay and now that he seems at the same mould with the father but what about Marina? the well-known social activist. She and her SIS buddies , and what do tou think of her? What can be concluded if you read Rantings by MM and what kind of person Marina is? Is she liberal? urbanist , feminist or modern? Whatever your perception is, you might agree that they way she brought up give a prime impact or some extrovert influence to her in such a manner. The moment she asked some Malay women to flock at Starbucks Bangsar last year proved she’s the other way around and may be a lil bit liberal . O maybe because of her multiracial mixed around forced her to be like that or what but her statement towards some race on her blogs a lil bit harsh( u read n discover this ) The way she expressed her point on her blogs most like a police chasing a robber and contradicts with her father.

Now, let's just see the icon related to the current issue, Bersih 2.0. I see Datuk A Samad Said is someone who against the present government and his attendance on some of the public rally show he’s really unsatisfied on certain things. He who asked to give statement at Dang Wangi Station regarding her ammunition poem and the way he recalled the Boston Tea Party in his poetic ammo (Unggun Bersih) sounds he think the current administer is really helter-skelter. Does Nuraina agreed with that? I’m not sure but I saw some of this NST journalist writings are more to pro the government. Who else? Pairin and Jefrey Kitingan, Khalid Samad and Shahrir Samad, Zairil and Khir Johari.

What is happening in the current political crisis had made my brain cells digest a little bit on the family factor in understanding the political stand. What exactly fathers think may not influence the children? Or whether children today are very stubborn to not want to listen to the parents directly? Now I must be worried about both of my daughter, not about the politic wise but if they totally against me in the future. I’d better be paranoid now rather than regret at the end of the day. I might not agree with my father on certain aspect, but most of his advice proved of my faith today.
