View from LRT: a view from it's passenger

Taking LRT is everyday’s norm to me. In spite is that the greenest way to move from my house to the office, I myself feel that by taking LRT is as cool as taking tube in London. My rapid pass is as good as an oyster card. But the only think differ to UK is that the crowd inside the train. From King Cross to Paddington  for example, we can see those stylish people with jacket , branded outfits, necklace and off course their Caucasian looked yet here we still can enjoy the" bangla looks", makcik – makcik  with tudung  and pakcik –pakcik without perfume. So that you can imagine how the smell inside the LRT if it's full especially Bangla's underarm.

From Bukit Jalil to Titiwangsa there are several spots that may attract your view if you’re the first timer taking the train. The luxury of National Sport’s complex with the heavy duty tensile structure, the new TBS station condition as good as Amsterdam Central, the new Kenanga Mall which looked much better than Mangga Dua , PWTC and off course you can view the beauty of Sultan Abdul Samad  facade, which situated right in front of Dataran Merdeka or the called it “ a new Bersih demo hotspot”. By looking those monuments, I said myself this is the country we beloved and we belongs to. How proud I am being a  Malaysian.

Unfortunately, off all the good views, there is one spot that make my eye so painful which is Pudu jail  (while I am inside the train). Pudu Jail supposed to be developed as they said "one of the hottest places in town as good as Pavilion"  if I am not mistaken and UDA is the agency who leads the development. What happen now is the project is still not erectable, unstated and still in silent. The Star has reported that there are some dilemmas form the developer to develop that piece of part of golden triangle land. According to The Star , UDA Holdings Bhd is still evaluating proposals of all parties for the redevelopment of its Pudu Jail land and wants the preferred bid to be the one that is in its best commercial interest.

Again they still evaluating it.

Then, the chairman said “On a commercial basis, Everbright's proposal is the best because it will develop the land as one piece. If the land is cut into three parcels, you know you will lose the value of the land,”

Still what they think to cut the land, parcel it and then sell it out.

Here is my point view.
Can’t UDA be like YTL or even Berjaya who successfully developed the neighboring piece of land? YTL and Berjaya never get any injections from the sky, what they just the opportunity from the government, they grabbed it, erect the building, branding the building, and market it out. Why we are always championing the land and properties thing and then on loss profit or the project becomes the white elephant. The person who talk about the idea to ask a company from China to develop or cut the land to three is the person who always claim he is liberal kind of thing and so call new Malay . if that the case what is different between new Malay and old Malay, liberal and conservative? Don’t you think that the idea is always similar? Sell the land and get the money, that’s it.
Why can’t we ( refer to our race ), get the money, develop the land, erect the building, brand it and market it out  and get the long term good tenants? It always being differences between, YTL and UDA, SP Setia and SPNB. Yes we have some good apples like Petronas, Felda and Bank Rakyat but those are GLC’s.  What about the rest? We get the same opportunities  but why are we still left behind?
It's attitude.

Too heavy my post this time as heavy as a full loaded locomotive. Never mind, next I loose it out. I had to top up my rapid pass. By taking LRT I can save RM 200 per month.
